No Camellia Vicky, all their blooms have faded now.

The first 3 pics are all roses. The first is my absolute favourite as it's really big and keeps on blooming.....and never ever gets blackspot. I like the bloom of a rose but they just seem to be high maintenance if you want them to look good...whatever you do they always seem to succumb to the dreaded 'spot'.
Hubs likes them and plants them..but does he look after them.....nope!:wallbanging:
We end with bare twigs with a rose on the end.:roflol: That's why I love the 1st one, we've forgotten it's name ( no surprise there;)) but bought another one earlier in the year hoping it's the same.:fingers crossed:

Salvia 'Blue Note' - it's been a really good year so far for my salvias, they loved the dryness of the spring and I love that they are less sprawly than is usual by now:

And a variegated sisyrinchium - I have had a plain one for years, and was very happy to track down and be able to add one of these in as well, recently:

Gosh, that's doing well for you, Clare! :blue thumb: I've got 4 salvias and not much flowering at all yet, my 'Nachtvlinder' and 'Amethyst Lips' have barely started!

Thank you @Upsydaisy! I acquired Nostalgia after I fell in love with it myself, seeing it growing in Queen Mary's Rose Garden in Regent's Park a few years back. That is a fab place to visit in early summer, should you get the chance - stunning displays of delphiniums, as well as roses.

We had a mild winter here @Nikolaos, and I hadn't cut the salvias back much, so that's encouraged them to start up earlier than usual - Nachtvlinder, Royal Bumble and Amistad are also blooming well already, Hot Lips (visible behind Blue Note) and a couple of others not so much. Salvias do seem to do well here, and it's nice to see how popular the flowers are with visiting bees. I'll try and take and post photos of the others tomorrow, if it won't make you too .

Oooooohhhh thanks Clare I will certainly add that to my list of things to do . Fortunately all 3 of our brood live in London so we have plenty of opportunity. I have actually been many times to Regents Park but there is always something new to see and to be honest I can't recall if I've been to see The Rose Garden. :dbgrtmb:
