    Aquilejas are getting going, not a good year for these with me; they got going early then we had a few weeks of cold drying winds then removed the young growth.

      These two would normally be cut to the ground by frost, this winter was mild enough that they are both shooting from the stems rather than peeking above ground around the end of May.

              The 1st pic was at sunset, if I had taken it a little earlier it would show how the sun acts as a spotlight on the bench + Donna...it looked so pretty.:smile:

                      Looking across the Sand Garden from under the Viburnum to the Bougainvilla at the end of the cottage with Myrtus 'Taratina' to the left. Plumbago centre and Mandevilla in pot. Iochroma overhead left.
