Thank you so much @Sheal .
It depends on the area really, we have concrete edging where the lawns meet it, just to ensure the stones don't wander off and attack the lawn mower!!, sometimes we've laid them sideways to create a thinner look. We used bricks in other areas too.

I've been having trouble with this camera ever since I bought it. My brother-in-law is a professional photographer and also couldn't solve the problems. We now think we're managing to get around some of them. I prefer to use the ia setting (intelligent auto) but it's anything but. We've found we still have to make speed and aperture settings anyway!

I've just tried some different settings.

Some of the Irises started to flower two days ago :blue thumb:

I've just noticed he has changed the size and format of the shots. I may have to adjust those again. I definitely need to reduce the MB size as I have a very slow internet connection.

I have a lovely Azalea in bloom and the bluebells are still showing strong. Today we spotted the 40-year-old Rhododendron stump that I lifted and then slung in a hole earlier in the spring is starting to bloom. We didn't even think it would survive.

I am always amazed at the flowers you get on Cactus Pete. I got rid of all my pricklies barring a Bunny Ear, which has had the odd one or two pale yellow non-descript flowers.

Thanks @Upsydaisy. There is currently wood surrounding my patio gravel which was there when I moved in. It's rotting and starting to break up so it's time to replace it.

Oh, and you've swiped my bird bath stand. :heehee: Your last image on post #78.

I love Azaleas. Had one once many moons ago but have never seen them here since. We are just too hot and too dry.
