    Hang on, hang on @shiney - too many beautiful pictures and I want to ask questions! :smile: Is that really a yellow fruited yew? What is the 2nd bark picture - after the cornus and before the prunus? Is that YOUR grove of jacquemontii? What are the translucent berries after the callicarpa?:wow:

      @CarolineL

      Sorry to confuse you. No, they're not all in our garden as most of them are the winter garden at Anglesey Abbey (somewhere around 90 miles from you - at a guess) . The yellow berries are Taxus baccata lutea. I can't remember the bark of that one but I shall ask Mrs Shiney in the morning and see whether she remembers. The guide said the translucent berries are lonicera purpusii but we have that plant and it doesn't have those berries :noidea:

      We don't get a lot of colour in our garden at this time of year but the Katsuras are looking good, as are the grasses, cobaea, passiflora and even the arum italicum are beginning to look good. Ours is more of a Spring garden.

        Lucky you @shiney to have cobaea flowering. My cobaea pringlei was all set with buds, and a bit of harsh weather has just subdued it. Oh well. Thanks for the information. Yes, I have lonicera purpusii - it never berries like that. And how can you say you don't have much colour when the pictures you post from your plants give the lie - your dahlias are still looking great, and the katsura is gorgeous

          A few bits and pieces around the garden

          @CarolineL The cobaea is still doing pretty well. We have lots of flowers on it.

              I've just sold another two Naga plants to the local Bangladeshi take away. :blue thumb: This one had over fifty chillies on it.

                  Some Chrysanthemums. Quite pleased with these, first time I've ever grown them. Still more coming into bud :)
