I've looked it up my book and it says minus 3, but I'm guessing that is only for short periods, my thinking is it might be a possible summer flowerer here, if its not it no go.

I thought a Nanometre was a 3' tall person who looked after children:scratch::dunno:

Tetrapanax about to flower, bet the frost clobbers it soon.

Did you have a good crop of apples WOO? This years appears to be very good for berries of most sorts.

I have been looking at Eosa. Bathsheba. Nice looking rose, so, who knows.

C'mon piggy bank. Where are you hiding?

Michael Hewitt. Fuchsia Margaret. One of the old favourites. I tend to prefer the older cultvars in most plants. My original F.Margaret I got from the lady herself. I grew it along with, Mts Popple and a few others as standards, in containers. Then one winter due ti illness, I was unble to get them into the GH or even wrap the containers. Goodbye faithful Margaret.

That is why I advocate wrapping, protecting container grown plants in winter.
