What's Looking Good In October 2020

    Our scandens is doing superbly this year (planted quite a few of them) and there are still dozens of flowers on them - but it is still quite mild here :fingers crossed:

      Mrs Shiney also does flower arranging and does them for a lot of people and some weddings.

      This time of year she has had requests for wreaths and when they ask how much she charges she says to make a donation towards the local charity we support. She made these four this week and we were amazed that we had over £300 donated. :rolleyespink: :blue thumb: The charity are over the moon.

      Everything comes from our garden and she checks with people what sort of look they want. They all went for similar wreaths.

        Crocus laevigatus this is a lovely autumn flowering crocus it has fairly short flower stems and so stands the weather quite well.
