None of my garden is quite how I imagined it but I'm still loving it in September regardless - it's starting to feel lived in, and I finally have one uneaten flower!

You can see an 'English breakfast' dahlia just opening in the last pic. Will post more when it's showing it's face. I had a big party on Friday night and my boyfriend's friend loved the pom poms. Going to have many more dahlias next year, it's a long wait but they're worth it!

 

They look FANTASTIC Chaliebot! I love Dahlias. Gonna spend lots of time poring over the catalogues over winter :D

All of mine are Taylor's or the range (10p each) bar some dwarfs which were morrisons and the huge orange ones were poundland! I did well with cuttings so got a few extra that way. They are my favourite and most (!) have been left alone by slugs.
