      I can't really say that standing next to Zigs whilst he takes a number two is on my list of things to do before Donald gets us all blown to kingdom come!

        @martin-f .....That is BEEutiful, at first i thought it might be a Mimosa it looks a similar bloom and colour but i don't think there are any that are fully hardy :noidea: - i could be wrong.... hopefully someone will identify it ...as im most smitten by it ....Oh Gawd :help: .....NOT another :whistle:on me ever increasing wishlist :heehee:

            I was visiting a garden centre yesterday when I happened to notice a plant with flowers that very much like Martin-f's one. It was Ceanothus but I forgot its full name. After googling I think it might be C x Pallidus Marie Rose. It is described as flowering in earlier summer but will flower again in early autumn. Nearly bought one myself:smile:.

              Hi @martin-f ,
              Have a look at Spirea Douglasii . It looks just like the Spirea i used to grow.
              sorry HsuH , it looks too flufffy for a Ceonothus .

                Thanks all :), Spirea rings a bell thanks KFF, it should make a nice plant once mature, only the one bloom atm, it did flower earlier in the summer :).

                          I count 13 - 12red admiral and I think the other a speckled wood or comma. Surprised I cant see any peacocks.

                            well were on par with the counting then :thumbsup: ....is it still a good day up with you? if so still time for more visitors maybe :)
                            :rain:here so in between the heavy downpours, my little chums mostly Red Admiral and small Tortoishell are sheltering under the eaves bless um :imphrt:
