Thank you @Sheal I believe it is called Cotoneaster Hybridus Pendulus. It's a small standard tree and is about 30 yrs old and I've lost the label, but I believe that's its name.

My 2 cannas are in buds at last. I hope they will be in bloom very soon in spite of the weather. I hope to make pictures of them in full bloom and post them later.

We've had the opposite problem to a lot of you. Drought has caused most of our flowers to give up and although the hot dry days are nice the cold nights seem to have made them think it's time to give up for the year.

Some things on pots, that get watered, are doing fairly well. We let the cosmos and zinnias go to seed so that we had plenty of seed to get ready for the plant sale next year. Once we had enough seed we continued to dead head and the flowers are recovering :blue thumb:.

Some of our plants have, sadly, been neglected as we have had builders in for the last three weeks sorting out our patio, and a lot of the plants we just shoved out of the way.

You can just see a couple of plant labels on here. They were for seed collecting and cataloging.

As I mentioned in a previous post, our Cyclamen spread and grow like weeds. I've just whacked down (technical term :heehee:) our wild area and found this underneath everything. It wasn't there last year.
