This Hebe has now been flowering non-stop for at least 18 months

        P1490873.JPG

This one, next to it, doesn't have showy flowers but the leaves are thick and a shiny green/purple colour that looks good.
        P1490874.JPG

Liriopes are now coming into their own and have spread all round the garden. So we shall need to dig some up, pot them and sell them.

We have lots of different grasses and they're also looking good (must remember to photograph some of them )

          Edibles are doing well.

Pears were a good crop but all are now finished. Cooking apples have done exceptionally well and the eaters are now ready for picking.

This one is Charles Ross (cross between Cox's Orange Pippin and Peasgood Nonsuch - we have a Peasgood Nonsuch as well :rolleyespink:)

Allium callimischon haemostictum, bit of a mouthful for a dwarf allium no more than 6in tall. Comes from Crete and is good for untidy gardeners as the flower buds are formed in springtime and spend the summer dormant on straw like stems.

Its a bit smaller this year with the dry spring its about 5ft but can get to 7ft , the exact variety is Eupatorium Purple Bush. I am going to have a go at growing some white ones ( ivory towers ) this autumn or spring.

Have some white eupatorium (not sure of which variety) flowering in the garden for the last few weeks that can be seen at the end of this video I posted last week. Video also has a run through of what I think is looking good in the garden this month. I read they can grow taller so maybe the one I planted might get bigger next year.

Yes they will get much bigger than the one you have , they are quite thirsty plants but other than that they are giants and a magnate for bee's and butterfly's. I think in the first year mine only got to 3ft and it were more a less one or two stems

Thanks Perky I think that's going to be too tall. That's a shame because I like the idea that the bees and butterflies like them and later flowering. Would they be suitable for the Chelsea chop?

If you are after a smaller cultivar they is one called Little Joe, get to around 3ft tall
