Yes, I planted one in April, it's in a semi-shaded position and it's already covered in flowers! Looks like it's going to be a winner.

Mrs LS has always been the rose person here. I'm just getting into them. But my favourite of hers, and the current star of the garden, is Lady Emma Hamilton:

I haven't looked here for a couple of weeks and there are pages of beautiful photos of gorgeous plants and gardens. I love your garden @shiney , but it must be a lot of work. @Plantminded your lovely garden looks immaculate.

My roses are nearly finished for the moment. We are having a heatwave in Dordogne, 37C yesterday afternoon. Off to see if there is anything to take a photo of, summer perennials are coming out. I will say goodbye to here, off to OH's garden in Norfolk tomorrow.
