          Since I cut back most of the Callistemons due to height, spread and cold damage after flowering they have hardly flowered this year.
          C. leavis after cutting out dead branches.

                    I am going to re seed the lawn this weekend :fingers crossed: the old grass is more a less dead just needs a hard scarify .

                          Did that wall campanula plant itself, @Michael Hewett? There is a wall in town here with lots of self-seeded pockets of a purple variety. I will try to remember to take my ipad and get a photo.

                            I planted it between the bricks when I built the wall @ViewAhead. I put a mauve one there too but it hasn't got flowers at the moment.
