      Looking good today....
Tulip "Little Beauty" smiling in the sun PXL_20240330_141731666.jpg

A daffodil that was supposed to be "Ice Follies" but is streaked with lemon yellow
      PXL_20240330_141439987.jpg

White Lamprocapnos (I was going to pull out that old cane but there were ladybirds just appearing out of the top)
      PXL_20240330_141358518.jpg

A variegated honesty - I think this one is a mixture of Somerset Marble and Chedglow - it has features of both. Not decided whether I like it or not.
      PXL_20240330_141822988.jpg

Persicaria "Red Dragon" started to grow - it seems early this year

Clematis "Multi Blue" growing through Cytisus "All Gold"

Cheerfulness [both colours] and Bridal Crown are both quite similar @Escarpment, and very very nice. I usually have some of those in every garden I've had. Not showing here yet

Thanks @fairygirl, will definitely have one or the other on my shopping list for next year. Went a bit mad with the big blowsy ones like Snowtip this year.

I'd say JennyJB's clematis above is actually a macropetala, possibly 'Wesselton' or 'Maidwell Hall'.. one like that.. 'Multi-Blue' is a large flowered type, similar to 'The President'.

Lots of interesting plants shown above by everyone..

.. a few from me, mostly whites..
                a young Pittosporum 'Silver Queen'..

Native kerria just getting going. I like the saucer flowers better than the pompom variety, but they don't last as long. It is less invasive though, and stays in a nice neat clump, rather than spreading like mad.

You're right @Mrs Hillard . I used to have multi blue in that spot but it gave up the ghost so I planted the macropetala instead. That was probably 7 or 8 years ago. Some days my brain is like a sieve!

I never noticed any scent from Thalia - must go out and have a sniff.
Edit: I can detect a very faint scent, but to me it's not particularly pleasant. Maybe it's one that needs warmth/sun to bring it out properly.

Daffodil "Snowtip" is looking its best today, the first time I've managed to photograph it dry. I bought a load of these bulbs in the Farmer Gracy end of season sale and planted them just before Christmas. 2024-03-31_15-50-33.jpg

Geranium libani a tuberous geranium that comes into leaf in autumn/winter flowers in spring and then shelters below ground for the summer, likes well drained sunny position.

Oncostema peruviana "Paul Voelcker" was Scilla until the taxonomists got busy. A different form of O peruviana; less vigorous than the blue form.
