I think it's Sum and Substance @OwdPotter and @CarolineL . I have one in a pot also, it makes a great focal point :).

I like Walter's Gift, @Plantminded. :blue thumb: Are the leaves sticky to touch?

Flowers on my Snakebark Maple. These will be completely coating the ground before long.

This geranium was bought as a bare root this Spring as Geranium Phaeum "Samobor", but with these double flowers I think it must actually be "Joseph Green". I bought 3 bare roots which are all flowering and all the same.

I’m not sure about the leaves @ViewAhead, I’ll check tomorrow as it’s now wet after I watered it :).

My Honeybells are in exactly the same state, throwing off the papery covering. I accidentally broke one off a week ago and put it in a vase of water where it has continued to progress and looks like it will open fully.

Nectaroscordum Siculum, or Sicilian Honey Garlic. The supermarkets have taken to calling them Honeybells lately. They are a kind of allium, very pretty and much loved by insects. This is from last year, 11th May to be precise. This year's seem to be about a week behind.

Indeed, I bought my ones years ago at the supermarket and they were called Honeybells.

Here one of my favourite pictures from June 6, 2018. They look like bells and the bees collect the honey.

In the sunny parts of our garden the Nectaroscordum Siculum (always used to be called Allium Siculum) have been flowering for a couple of weeks but in the shady parts they aren't going to open for at least a week or two.

When we used to open our garden we used to sell between 50 and a 100 in just one day. We never had them potted up ready but I dug them up when asked for them and they just got wrapped in newspaper. They could stay OK like that for at least a day before planting.

It is best to cut the heads off before they seed as they can be quite invasive. They will still propagate by bulb offsets anyway.

I think that @NigelJ has a less invasive variety.

My one from the picture is in the sunny side of the garden. The honeybells in the shade need a few more days to open.
