    I have just done a search for Narcissus 'Paperwhite' & from the pictures I've seen they could indeed be 'Paperwhites'! I didn't think they were because I've always associated them with more expensive bulbs used indoors rather than being part of a cheap mix of Daffs.! So thank you to @Logan & @Michael Hewett :)

        Might it be because they are growing at the base of a wall that they are more protected from frost & therefore have survived all these years?

            We have ordinary Daffodils out in our area now apparently, they showed pics of them on our local weather forecast. Such a sunny sight :SUNsmile: , ours won't bloom yet as we are quite open to the elements.
