    First visable jack frost here in York.
    It was -1C at 07:30. I guess this is the start of it.

    Morning all

    It's bitterly cold, more snow on the hills this morning, and starting to flurry ever so slightly at lower levels, i don't think it'll come to much though, it's certainly time to dig the thermals out i think!! :lollol:

    True Capney - and it's only October!

    I am sure I recently read a long term forecast that said
    this winter would be quite mild :scratch:

    SNOWING here in the Midlands as well.We are getting it earlier than last year:thmb:.We had it in November then.:)Can't remember last time it snowed in October.Glad I got all my Runner Beans collected yesterday or would have lost them all.Glad I turned the heater on for the Guneia Pigs though:thmb:

    It`s getting colder by the hour here. My car tells me it is 2*C, it was 3*C at 3 oclock so it`ll definitely freeze tonight.

    So sorry to see what you are having to endure Steve.

    Shiney-Even when it`s frozen, I still love your garden.

    1deg when I cam back from peel farm craft shop half an hr ago.

    Should be my fuchsia club night but its when you come out of hall later could be real slippy roads .

    Give it a miss I think.
