I'm off work sick. Slowly going mad I think. On the plus side, with 1.2 home from nursery I do get to watch some high quality educational tv instead of wife's choice of drivel.

Today, we learned why crocodile has a bumpy back. It is in fact the truth. This is really how evolution works.

Dunno. I haven't seen that episode. But I do know why elephant's trunk is long, and why flamingo stands on one leg. Oh, and why flee jumps.

I'm not off for a month, and not because of injury. Just a few days with gastroenteritis.

As per the elephant in the video you posted? :noidea: ;)

It was the English speaking Elephant in the video you posted (who suffered from flatulence :heehee: ).

Ok, I admit, I gave up 11 minutes or so of my life to watch the video; based my comments on it and ...

... major "fail" when it comes to humour! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:  (I'll get my coat :heehee: )

                I get it now.

To quote elephant, 'big head see, tiny brain'.

Anyway, I found this episode exceptionally funny because the call to run reminds me of my youth. I was a good kid, but some of my mates could be a bit naughty at times. So I learned quite quickly that if someone shouts run, you run without question.

... it reminded of an essay I had to write when I was around 9 years old. I may be confused, but, I think it was at a time when we were hearing Aesops Fables? :dunno:

Anyway, the point was, we had to write an essay on something to do with why certain animals *looked* (evolved?) the way they did.
This was the very first essay I ever scored an "A" in (insert smug grin  ) To this day I remember writing the tale of how a seal has (seemingly) conjoined "legs". I waxed lyrical how one birth was so tight to schedule, the poor baby emerged with its legs, seemingly, joined together; they had become stuck together during the birthing process

What a load of taradiddle!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5: But, when it comes to "creative" writing; spot on!

What my mind was thinking at that point in time takes a few moments of reflection (because I really had no clue on how "babies" were made .. or even born!); I can only conclude that my half sister had recently given birth to my nephew and something of the "seen but not heard" philosophy had meant I'd heard things I maybe shouldn't have and that gave rise to my "imaginative" story. Who cares!!? I scored an "A" ... :hapfeet: :yahoo: :heehee:
