Why is my Escallonia not scented?

    Coincidentally I've bought a couple of these this year as well - one has gone into a border and one in a container. They are very young so doubt I'll have flowers for a while yet, but I do love the shape of the leaves - there is one in a front garden near mine which is about 3m high and it's beautiful.

    I have to admit, I`ve never noticed Escallonia to be scented.:D:thumbsup:
