I have about a square metre of garden at the front of the house where I have removed a very spikey Yucca. I have bought some wild flower mixed seeds, mixed in silver sand, which will easily sow over a metre. There are over 30 different types in the packet, some I have never heard of. Is it OK to sow now, will some be able to flower and reseed for next year?

You'll probably need to make sure you water them, unless you get a lot of rain. I'm sure out of the 30 different types some will get established and there are probably some perennials in there which will grow back next year.

Cheers Mike, I'll make sure they are well watered, and we can see what pops up!
