A lot of the songs mentioned were not at all 'in' when I was young, but I like to hear them all again now cos it makes me feel nostalgic :D

I dont think I ever bought a single I didnt like, but I remember winning a prize at the school disco and had to choose between The Partridge Family 'How Can I be Sure' and Resurrection Shuffle - and I chose the Partridge Family....whoops [IMG] However, when I here that song on the radio now, it takes me back to that very night :D

I love the Moody Blues and have a very precious Blue Jays album up in the loft :D [IMG]

Marge, when I bought the singles I loved each and everyone, that's why I got them, but I think my tastes have changed somewhat as I have got older.I too loved David Cassidy and the Partridge Family, and "How Can I Be Sure was also one of my favourites.
At the moment I love listening to "Cascada,"Infernal" and the all girl group "Triniti" :D :D

Yes Sunshine, I have a player - my stacking system had the option of a record player, one of the reasons I got it a few years back after the tape on my music centre (remember those) went phuttt.

Sadly whilst my neighbour can not hear anything else, radio, tv, me singing - she can hear my records so havne't listened to them for a while - cos I hated being attached to the system by the wire from headphones. But now got wireless headphones - so I will be revisiting.

Well guys, keep hold of your vinyl, apparently it's becoming highly fashionable.

Loads of places are selling those Gramaphone looking things that are really a record player/cd player. Mother in law has just bought one. Husband still has a turntable though and has managed to record his LP's to his computer then download onto his Ipod! Way too technical for me.

Oh, and I have every album the Bay City Rollers made up in the loft! [IMG] Oh Les McKeown, I still hold a candle for you!
