        Bright and sunny here so far, do hopefully it will be a good one. Chutney took ages yesterday and wasn't done until after ten last night! Kinda knackered Bacardi time, so that will have to be made up for today :biggrin:

        Woo, hope you feel better shortly and you don't need to get a vet out.

              Ooooh migraine is a helluva thing Woo - I used to get them quite regularly years ago, but thankfully now they are a once in a blue moon thing. Hope you are getting over the worst of it now.

                    I like to take something when paying a visit. So many people we know no longer, or have never dabbled in making homemade stuff. So, they do appreciate it more than we realise I think,

                          Loli, that's a first, rather go to work than do the garden?!

                          Zigs, Good advice, they ride those pony and traps round here. As you probably know from the news we have more than our share of travellers in the area and they have taken to having pony and trap races around our roads. Those poor ponies I would think their tendons in the legs must be shot to pieces. Three lots yesterday holding up the traffic!

                            Thanks for all your good wishes for the journey.
                            We had a wonderful week in the Lake District with not even a hint of rain, met up with friends, had lovely meals and even found time to do a little walking. :heehee:

                            The 300 mile journey back was dogged by timely reminders from my SatNav that the A1 was closed (so I took the M6) and that there were a number of roadworks en route and a couple of accidents. It told me, fairly accurately, how much of a delay we would have (fortunately, not very long) and most of the journey was uneventful. We only took 5 hours to get home with the above problems and a bladder stop. :)
