      Evening all :)

Hope you have all had a wonderful day; sorry I am a bit late in appearing this evening - I'm back to database building, and have managed to fry my brain already! Somehow, I managed to get a section of code that worked so fast it was ahead of itself, and then when it went to give an answer it realised it hadn't yet found the answer.... so I have just spent an evening working out how to slow the blighter down a bit!

Won't be long and I will be off to bed as my head is like mince.

        Aloha everyone,

We didn't have much time to settle back in yesterday as I had to take Mrs Shiney up to London where she was giving a talk on 'Healing Plants'. It went very well but the traffic on the way home wasn't too good.

I need to get out in the garden to pick a lot of beans, if they're still OK after not having been picked for 9 days, as I have a lot of orders for them this afternoon. I took everything off the plants before we went away, otherwise the plants would have gone to seed.

No problem :blue thumb:. The answer's 42 :dbgrtmb: :loll:

        Have a great day

        Aloha!

Morning all - dull and dreary here this morning, but allegedly it's going to clear later

Nose about to be firmly pressed against the grindstone, so please forgive me if I am late back....

              Good morning everyone,

Well foggy this morning and it is taking its time to lift. Hope everyone is ok.

Got the washing machine on, just hope it clears enough to get the washing dry!

Have a good day all, God bless. :wub2:

              Morning all

              Sunny and warm here.

Had to rush my GSD Kai to the vets yesterday as he was really unwell. Poor boy is on a drip and will be there for a few days as they try to get his dangerously high temperature down. They're worried about his kidneys and liver being affected by whatever infection he's got. Think I've had enough of this year.

Hope everyone is well and has a great day

I'm having a break.......... chuffing computers!

                smash_small.jpg

I have a line of code, which works perfectly well for the majority of the time - - but once in a blue moon it chucks a wobbler (runtime error), yet I can see nothing wrong with the code despite checking and re-checking hundreds of times!

                  Mutters..............

Nailed the little blighter - goodness knows why it was taking umbridge at one specific command, and only when it felt like it, but the solution was....

to get shot of the problem command and find another way around to get to the same goal. Upside is, that in going through it again, I have eliminated a shed load of code so it now runs faster too. All I need to do is replicate that process across numerous other actions where the same buggy command is being used....

However, that will have to be tomorrow now, as I have to get some shut-eye - - - got to be at work by 4am.

Hope you all have a pleasant evening and a cracker of a day tomorrow.
