Hello where is everyone? Unusual for me to be on here first. Getting totally fed up with this Scottish Referendum business, shall be glad when tomorrow is over and the decision is known. I think it will be very sad if they do vote for independence. They already get concessions up there that we do not get here. I think they will find things a lot different if they do go for independence.
I hope everyone is ok this morning, have a good day and take care, God bless.:wub2:

Morning all - nearly four hours of my working day gone by already. Looks like a big of a grey start this morning, but it's nice and mild

Hope you all have a smashing day :)

        Morning all,

Up bright !! and early .

Made a start in the kitchen, trying to sort out all my bottled goodies, got them boxed.
Sorted out a load of jars a friend of mine dropped by with yesterday, cleaned them again last night, and now they are boxed .

Sorted through some more apples to get them cooked later.:stirpot:

A dull start this morning, supposed to brighten up later, hope so, I have clipping that needs doing as the green wheelie bin is collected tomorrow.:psnp:

On the warm porridge this morning, a molar taken out yesterday, six weeks, then I can be measured for a denture, can't wait...it means no more problems with my tongue.... hopefully.

            Good morning everyone,

            Hows everyone doing?

It's a gloomy one here this morning but hoping it brightens up soon,I was going to take Mum out for a ride to the coast today,we've got a craving for proper fish and chips from the seaside but we'll give it another hour to see if some of this cloud lifts:blue thumb:

Daisy chook is looking a lot better:thumbsup: but I don't think she's out of the woods yet,it's not stopping her from eating though so that's a good sign:thumbsup: they're all enjoying a vegetarian breakfast of cabbage, carrots,Mash and mashed swede with a side order of corn:biggrin:I'll just have a boring old slice of toast:snork:

Well wishes to everyone, have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

              Aloha everyone,

It's quite dull here but will brighten up later. Yesterday got extremely warm and sticky and it looks set to get even warmer today. It's already 63F (17C).

The runner beans have slowed down and I only picked 20lb for sale. On the up side, I also picked 20lb of rhubarb for sale. All the French beans have now started to go to seed but I think I'll get a few more weeks out of the runners. Tomatoes and chillies are still going great guns. :blue thumb:

My foot is still being a nuisance (got a new outbreak) but is a lot better than it was. It's not enough to stop me having Bouncability. :hapydancsmil:

I'm having trouble catching up on all the paperwork and jobs I have to do after a week away. Too many events I'm organising, lots of meetings and too many people asking for help or advice that I can't, or don't want to, give! :phew: This always happens after the quieter summer and the end of the silly season.

I think I'll just potter around, do a little bit of paperwork, some shopping, have a long chat with Sarafi :heehee: (he doesn't interrupt whilst I'm talking - as long as I keep stroking him) and may do a bit of gardening. :)

We have been a bit worried about the pheasants as we haven't seen them for about three months but one female was back again this morning. :blue thumb:

              have a great day

              Aloha!

                                Aloha everyone,

I wish all of you that are under the weather a much better day today :grphg:

It's very mild again this morning and was 64.4F when I was wandering around the garden an hour ago. It was very still out there and very little in the way of birds or bird song. The birds must be getting a wonderful natural harvest at the moment as they have gone from eating their way through all my bird feeders full of seeds twice a week to only having eaten half the feeders of seeds in 11 days.

I got myself a new pair of walking shoes whilst we were up in the Lakes. They're for everyday wear as I now find them more comfy than my trainers and they give me less trouble with my foot. They cost £130 :hate-shocked: but are worth it. I worked my way through three boxes of shoes before I got left and right foot shoes that were extra comfy. They came from different boxes. :blue thumb:

I'm still restricted on how much gardening I'm allowed to do but my foot is improving gradually. The outbreaks of sores are reducing and the zinc dressings seem to be helping. :)

More paperwork to get done and a busy meeting at the town hall this afternoon (nothing to do with the council ). They haven't barred me from going into the town hall although I'm always causing them problems :heehee:.

I just got an email from BT reminding me to renew my Line Rental Saver. If any of you have BT as your provider and don't have Line Rental Saver you want to look into it. If you can pay the year's rent in advance it saves almost 17% on the annual bill (12 months for the price of 10).

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
