    Morning all

Bit late today but I haven't been lazing around. Tis a beautiful sunny morning and Tiffy and I had a lovely long walk in the park.

Hope you had a lovely holiday Jenny.

Good luck at the Bridge contest Shiney.

Pleased your cold is on the wane Loli. I'm at the 'can't breathe properly, can't taste anything' stage. But I'm definitely feeling better than I did yesterday.

Have fun sorting out your books 'M', but if you're anything like me very few will make it into the recycling pile :heehee:

    Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

It's a fairly common and popular folk remedy that seems to have worked quite well, over many years, for some of Mrs Shiney's patients. She also prescribes Aesculus as a homeopathic remedy. :blue thumb:

              Good afternoon everyone,

I'm sat out here pretending it's still summer:rolleyespink:...it's quite warm really, especially if you add 2 jumpers and boots:rolleyespink: I refuse to go indoors until this sun stops shining:paladin:....It's the worst thing I can do is sit outside,I look around and start thinking of things ,like replacing the wire fencing from one of the border (chicken defences) and replacing with some lovely Buxus, show off my Roses it would:rolleyespink:....a guesstimate of the cost would be at least £150 pounds and rising:rolleyespink:

              Annnnnd back in the room:biggrin:...

"M" ...I bet you've got some great plans for your new garden:dancy:

Shiney...Hope the match is going well:dbgrtmb:

              FC...Stop playing with your conkers:nonofinger:

Waves to all, hope the sun is still shining where you all are:thumbsup:

Good afternoon Loli and all my other friends,I am also in my back garden just starting my third raised bed,the sun is shining and the warmth on yours truly is magical;) My thoughts keep wandering on my next project, but first I have to complete this one:smile:

The UKIP candidate knocked at the front door so I was waylaid for 30 minutes, but I always give them some of my time(I have plenty):heehee: we have an election coming up as our present Conservative defected to UKIP,so that was very entertaining and pleasant:smile:

I did ask him if he would help me carry some breeze blocks round to the garden but he politely declined;) enjoy the rest of your day and save some of that bounceability for tomorrow:smile::blue thumb:

Well that was hardly vote securing, was it!?
Candidate: "Will you be voting for us next election?"
Woo: "Will you help carry my breeze blocks"
Candidate: "Unfortunately not, I don't have the time, but, thank you for asking"
                  Woo: "Ditto" :)

Indeed: one might say "grand plans" ;) ... then I remember ... I'm in a dramatically smaller garden  :heehee:

I've mapped out the size/shape on graph paper and I've got my "structures" on graph paper cut-outs which keep being shuffled around the page. I've been photographing where the sun falls at different times of day to assess just how much of the garden is shade (in truth, since the fencing went up ... that'll be half of it then ) and my book rummage has yielded a few more gardening books and mags which are being scrutinised for shade loving plants :heehee:
@lost_in_france Yup, as you predicted, that pile isn't getting much smaller :heehee:

                        Good morning everyone,

WOO that's an unusual sky. I thought when I drew the curtains earlier that I detected some red in the sky but I have a great big tree blocking my view to see it clearly. Got to get Amber out in a minute so hopefully it will give the sun a bit more of a chance to rise.

Shiney, I hope your match went well yesterday.

Loli, It is nice to sit and contemplate new ideas for the garden.
Have a good day everyone and stay safe, take care and God bless.:wub2:

                          Morning all

What a dramatic sky Woo. Just dull and windy here in not-so-sunny Eastbourne. With lots of rain forecast for this afternoon.

Hope everyone has a great day

                              Aloha everyone,

Lovely photo, Woo :). It's rather dull here and looks as though it will rain and the weather forecast shows rain for four days. Well, I suppose it's better than forty days! :heehee:

Moyra, if you haven't taken Amber out yet you had better go soon :blue thumb:

I hope to find a bit of time, in between any rain, to hammer in the metal posts for my paving. If I find the bending too awkward I'll have to wait for Michael to do it when he's here next.

The match went well and we had a very good win against the friendly team from Bedfordshire. :hapydancsmil:

I've got to take Mrs Shiney to the station as she's off to the big city for the annual lunch of her old firm's pensioners' society :old: :heehee:. It's at a posh hotel in the West End. :)

                              Have a great day

                              Aloha!
