Yawn Yawn, Wakey WAKEY...!! 2014 part 2...

Stayed dry here, and brightened up to be quite a nice day. I ended up not bothering with the chutney today (my get up and go has got up and went); we made a pot of tomato soup with the red ones, batched it up and into the freezer, and preserved some more ripe toms by dehydrating them a bit in the oven and then into portions to freeze (to add to sauces etc in the months to come).

For the remainder, I have pottered and loafed about really - came within a couple of clicks of buying some blueberry and blackberry plants from Crocus, but their website seems to have a problem and I couldn't checkout; however, following advice from our longk, I am thinking twice about the blueberries now...........

Just sat down with a wee Bacardi, and I will potter and loaf the rest of my last day out before heading back to work tomorrow.

To day I have some old kitchen wall tiles to remove(about 200) and the kitchen floor to finish off,but first it off to the recycling center with 6 more trugs of garden rubbish,taking Penny with me ,she like a good hunt round,have already made a meat pie,and peeled the potatoes,apple pie is also made,all I have to do now is put them in the oven later

Many Thanks to all of you for your good wishes about my foot. It has been behaving itself since yesterday and a new dressing should leave me all hunky dory!

What a lovely day it was yesterday and I'm looking forward to an even better one today. The sun is coming over the hills and will be rolling around heaven all day. Another cue for a song but no access to it!
