:candle: Well the doc has set me up with some strong cough linctus and a ventilin inhaler to help with my tubes. I am hoping I shall have a more comfortable night.

Loli, do hope Daisy is going to be ok but I should let her stay in while she is under the weather. I am daft enough to let the lot stay in while it is like it is out there. However, it is supposed to be turning warmer. Hallelujah!

Have a good evening all, not much of 2014 left, thankfully, soon be looking at January and the new spring. Am concerned at the height of my daffodils already, about 5/6 inches do not want them to come up too soon. I have stacked loads of leaf mould around them. Have a good night all, God bless. :wub2: Good_Night_57.gif

      Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone is OK this morning:thumbsup:

Moyra.Hope you had a more comfortable night :dbgrtmb:

Yesterday Daisy appeared to rally so I put her cage out inside on the patio in a nice sunny sheltered spot and left the door open in case she fancied a wander.I was constantly keeping an eye on her and watched her tootle off slowly with the other two chooks to the coup.I'd already cleaned them out and filled the coup with even more straw,I'm surprised they could fit in:rolleyespink:When I checked just before their bedtime they were all in bed and I could just see their heads popping out of the straw.I haven't checked them yet this morning it's too dark and don't want to frighten them but I'm not looking forward to it.I will check before I go to work though:blue thumb:

Annnyway, the last day of 2014 ,Enjoy it everyone and take care:SUNsmile:

            Aloha everyone,

Woo, we're sending you best wishes and get better soon :grphg:
Moyra, I hope the inhaler works for you :grphg:

Loli, good luck with Daisy :chicken:

Eve, I hope your shoulder is getting better :blue thumb:

Zigs, beware of the Chinese! :hate-shocked:

Well, today will be the first day in thirteen years that I will be doing proper work! :old: My shift at the place for the homeless is this afternoon and evening. They've warned us it will be very busy. Apart from the twenty or so that will have got a bed there will be a lot of drop ins for New Year's Eve dinner.

Have a great day and a Happy New Year

            Aloha!

              Good morning everyone,

Had a better night last night. Oh WOO so sorry to hear you are not at all well again. I do hope you will be better soon. For some reason my Ventolin does not seem to want to work properly. The linctus is good though.

Shiney, do be careful with that foot of yours if you are out working.

Glad Daisy was well enough to go back out with her chums Loli, hope she is going to be ok now.
Have a good day all, stay safe, warm and dry and above all well. God bless.:wub2:

If you've got the "new improved" inhaler @moyra the nozzle doesn't work. I take the cylinder out and set it off in a funnel, breathing in thru the end. I'm gonna complain about it next time.

Get yourself a packet of these too,

                  http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/ja...aign=Product?gclid=CL_vkoOV8MICFU6WtAodG3QA8w

Tesco sell them as well, they'll bring up stuff you inhaled as far back as the 1960's :snork:

Have a good day everyone and don't miss the GC New Year bash tonight [IMG]

Thanks Zigs, I look out for them, they look as though they would do the job. As regards the inhaler I think I was doing wrong. I did realize you should hold it upside down!

Moyra they can be a bit tricky to get used to at first but you'll soon get the hang of it:dbgrtmb:

Woo you're never far from our thoughts:wub2: just you take it easy and get better soon, that's an order:old::thumbsup:

Shiney...I'm sure you'll give those folks a cracking New Year:yes:

Got home from work and my old Daisy chook looked really forlorn and I could hear bubbling when she was breathing ,enough was enough so she had her last little stroll around the garden wrapped in a blanket and a little sing song then off to the vets:sad:.Our vet gave her a scan and it showed up a huge 'mass' so a dozen steam baths weren't going to fix her no matter how hard I tried.
She's home now buried under the Forsythia with a hand full of corn to see her on her way:)She was a grand old lass and it was time for a rest:blue thumb:

                            Keep cozy everyone:SUNsmile:
