      Last night,me thinking I'm Pansy Potter thought I'd move the bag of compost off the top of the wheelie bin,won't be hard,easier than picking it up from the floor.I dragged it to the edge of the bin and put my shoulder underneath it ,no problem:rolleyespink: my back felt like it had crushed and shrunk by 2"...I still say it's the compost that's getting heavier I don't care what anyone says:whistle::biggrin:...so that was the end of me for the night:doh:
      Thankfully it feels much better this morning:phew: just a twinge:thumbsup:...I've done a gentle 'work out' kneading Nettle Bread and I'm still standing:yes:....

      It's a glorious end to August,the sun is really warm,perfick:spinning:

        Just back from walking the dogs so a coffee would be lovely thanks, AB.

        Still a little cloudy here but the sun is threatening to break through any time now.

              My foot has been doing quite well but this is a new eruption :sad:. Once it's cleaned up, steroid cream put on (Boo!! :gaah:) and a dressing, I'll get out there and do some mowing. It's a thin dressing so I can walk on it OK. :blue thumb:

                Woo - did you get any sleep? You must be really tired being up to walk Penny around midnight and then still be up just after five.

                Notes, you have my every sympathy with your back pain - I know only too well how debilitating it can be - be kind to yourself

                Project paint will have to carry on today, and much as I would love to see the end of it today, I fear it will be tomorrow before we are done - needs to be tomorrow latest though as my back and joints are screaming at me (mostly my left side oddly enough)

                The cider was lovely - Strongbow Black Fruits - more like juice really, but a couple of pints really quenched my thirst

                        Well, I am knackered with a capital F

                        I will be so glad to see this decorating finished; so far, upstairs is now complete, the staircase is now complete, the living room ceilings are done, and 99% of the woodwork is done. Tomorrow's jobs (after going shopping in the morning) - fix curtain pole brackets at front of living room (must have been put up by a poorly trained chimp going by the look of them) paint living room walls, finish woodwork, paint kitchen ceiling and paint kitchen walls, then put up a new lamp shade in Little C's room, and fit five new handles to various cupboard doors.

                        Front porch and outhouse/utility room will have to wait and be done over a couple of weekends, as I am downing tools and having a rest for the remainder of this week before I go back to work.
