I'm off to my birth choices meeting today. Hopefully they can reassure me regarding a normal birth and how to strengthen my body for it. At the moment I can't even walk to the local shop. It's the bed rest they've had me on all preg. Trying to think of something I can do in the room to show how weak I am maybe squeezing a tennis ball or something ?? Or walking up the corridor?? Anyway have a lovely day everyone it's overcast here hopefully the sun will come out soon :)

Morning all, hope you had a good weekend

Hope the pain goes soon Shiney - could you have strained a muscle doing the pressure washing? I always think that job finds muscles I didn't even know I had.

Good luck at the birth meeting CRG, hope you get what you want.

Got lots of clearing/weeding/type jobs done at the weekend. Mostly as I was keeping out of the way of my husband who was trying to build my new greenhouse. Neither of us are particularly good at DIY but he was too stubborn to ask a friend for help so it's still not finished. Another fun day, today then :heehee:

      Have a great day everyone.

        Morning everyone,
Its a cold and frosty morning here, and a dusting of snow too overnight.....come on Spring!!
We had a busy busy weekend, we did manage to get some more painting done too.
I'm home today and need to get some things done around the house, and need to make a stop at the grocery store too.
        Enjoy your day everyone

I've had the problem for about four days. I'm hoping it's just from overdoing the work, or a stomach upset, as it's a peculiar pain. Most of the time it's a dull ache in the upper right hand side of the stomach. There's no pain at all if I cough but if I have a sudden intake of breathe, such as a yawn, it almost doubles me up. Then it's gone almost immediately.

I'm going to take things easy for a day or so. :blue thumb:

@shiney ....you've maybe pulled something...just a thought but does it feel worse after certain foods? i ask because it sounds very similar to when my Gall bladder started playing up....

          Take care:grphg:

@Lolimac I've been wondering about that. I think I may have strained something when working but didn't feel anything at the time so don't think it's a tear. No problem with eating food. I'm taking something to, gently, clear me out just in case that's the cause. It's probably a combination of things. I'm feeling a bit easier this morning. :blue thumb:

            Aloha everyone,

No sun, yet, this morning with a forecast of a little rain and then sunshine. Do you think the forecasters are hedging their bets?

The lessons went well yesterday. :dbgrtmb: It's a series of four masterclasses and the bookings are full. I have a waiting list of people and have told them that if I get enough people I shall run the course again in the summer. Some of the people on the course have, after yesterday, said that they would like to book for the repeat (it's rather intensive).

I'm still taking things easy and, apart from running the bridge club this afternoon, I shall laze around - don't like doing that.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Cloudy and cold here, a reminder that it is actually March and summer was just teasing us the past week or so.

Pleased you're feeling a bit better Shiney, try and take it easy if you can. Great news that the Bridge classes are going so well.

I'm jealous of Woo and Loli's Waltz Time roses. They are absolutely gorgeous. I will need to source some when I'm in the UK at the weekend. Haven't seen them round here anywhere.

Fingers crossed you can work your magic with Poppy, Loli.

Just noticed CRG is now HRG - waves to Hannah.

Stay safe everyone and have a wonderful day.

Can't hack this lazing around so have just been out for a brisk 2 mile walk. :dbgrtmb:

Loli, I hope Poppy is better this morning. :)

Eve, if you're ever up this way when you come over feel free to pop in for a cuppa or a bite of lunch.

Is this the thread for folk who've got up at silly o'clock and have to go to work before anyone else is awake?

Better count me in then

Just wish I hadn't pulled a back muscle, not much fun up and down a ladder with that
