Shiney...So Sarafi wasn't impressed with the noisy tree men....they are funny creatures aren't they ..they don't need to be able to speak our language do they,they can make themselves perfectly understood....

It's a beautiful morning here but had some torrential rain overnight which suits me,the water butts desperately needed filling as they were all but empty...the lawns look better for it too...we've had a really dry winter here which certainly isn't the norm....

I've been going to plant a Rhubarb crown all week and still haven't so that's my first job

Lots of rain here too and, though I know the garden needed it, it has spoilt my plans to cut the grass, unless it clears up pretty quick.

Loli, poor little Poppy They do not have a long life span do they so I expect her time had come quite naturally, bless her. At least she gets a respectful burial and I expect you said a lovely requiem for her. The other girls will miss her or will you get them another little friend to keep their numbers up?

HRG. Sorry to hear that HRG Junior is under the weather, hope she feels better soon, bless her.

No work today, but a lot to do. Spoke to solicitors yesterday, exchange contracts Wednesday, complete on Friday

So got to get everything shifted this weekend so its only stuff I can lob in the car on Thursday

We'll she's got earache nothing worse. Can't take her to tap dancing the music stood loud. She's running around the house tho. Can't imagine what was done for children before paracetamol. My gran used to put warm onion centres in my ears to burst the yuck out. Not something I will be repeating.

 

So you're taking it easy then Shiney......between you and Woo you put me to shame...i was going to perform miracles when i got home from work but i'm jiggered...the weather isn't helping either..it's persistantly pouring and quite chilly but saying that the sun is still trying hard to shine...
HRG ,thankfully i've only had an ear infection once in my life and by 'eck it was painful but i'll remember your Grannys remedy ,the old ones are the best
