        It's raining today but the garden needs it. Unfortunately, I'm supposed to have someone come in to replace some fence posts that were damaged in the winds, but I'm not sure he'll come if it's raining.

        We're having a little celebration at the bridge club this afternoon as it's one of our member's 96th birthday. :old: :heehee:

          Today will be spent mostly pricking out seedlings I think. Could do with a day of not doing anything too strenuous for a change.

            Shiney, I have my doubts that your fencer will appear today if it keep this rain up. Hopefully it may brighten up later. Enjoy your celebrations for the 96 year old that's good going.

            Eve, I have just taken some ibuprofen to stop the face ache from the extractions still soon it will be over next Monday I have the last three out. Then I guess it is down to getting some dentures as I wont have many of the molars left. lost one incisor but all the others present and correct as are the canines. So it could be worse.

            Where's our Loli today. Morning WOO, hope you are well.

              Moyra, they're here and working :blue thumb:. John has done a number of jobs for me in the past and he's working with his son, Michael. Michael, 18/19 year's old, is doing all the work now.

              I've known Michael for some years as he has helped one of my neighbours with his gardening since he was at school. He doesn't know much about plants but he's good with the heavy work. So I'm going to get him to do the digging for me and a few odd jobs. I've, easily, got enough for him to do a whole day's work and, if he does it well, we shall start to teach him about plants.

                  Its sunny here but its cold though....supposed to warm up for the weekend.

                  I'm more or less home today, I've done all the bedding and mopped the floors, need to do some errands shortly.

                  I was in Toronto yesterday and am back down again tomorrow.

                        Evening all,

                        I finally got here:phew:....i've been unable to connect to the net all day:pcthwack:..turns out we had a 'power surge' in the night which made it go haywire :scratch:...Mr Loli is a serious gadget man and the house is full of things with little lights and buttons on them so when i found i couldn't get connected i just went round pressed every button i could find:heehee:

                              There's a prob with baby's growth now. He's ok for now back in on fri then next tue thanx for asking :) I'm up taking bp coz it's a bit high. Don't think il have any probs getting back to sleep as long as orit stays asleep lol
