          Good Morning All,

Very foggy here but when it clears hopefully there is a beautiful sun underneath that lot.

Zigs, have a good moving day. I hope all is going to plan.

WOO, thanks for blowing the fog away but you'll have to blow harder over here.

Shiney expect you have a lot planned for today.

Loli, that is ever so kind of you but I do not feel ready for them yet. I shall take a trip to the garden centre when I feel ready. Get these teeth sorted. I still have a very sore throat but believe it is part of the infection I have in my gums and ear. Should go once the teeth are out. I may ask the doc for some A/bs.

Have a good day everyone and stay fit. God bless. :wub2:

          Good morning everyone,

Its POURING rain here.....so excited to see the rain!! Its amazing to see how much snow has melted overnight....still have so much more to melt but its a start. Plus its supposed to be beautiful here all weekend.....cant wait to see some grass.

I'm off at 9 this morning for my manicure and am having a pedicure today too, then I have a bunch of deliveries to make for Brad. I was in Toronto all day yesterday and thought I had to go down again today...but that's now Monday.....thankfully, been there 3 times already this week.

Brad and I had Daniel for awhile last night, Natalie and Dan went to the gym and then the movies. Poor wee guy is teething, but he wasn't too bad.

Kait and Chris were going to come home this weekend to visit, but she has a paper due that she wants to get done and out of the way. They are absolutely loving their apartment, no more roomates!

Off to throw some laundry into the dryer, and make some breakfast......so enjoy your day everyone.

            Aloha everyone,

Didn't get a chance to get on here this morning. I was adding to the Brazil thread and then, suddenly, remembered I had things to do!

I'm been at a charity bridge drive since late morning. I won a bottle of booze as a prize. It's called Suze, so I'll have to look it up.

There were some things being raffled off for the charity and I decided to bid on a box of a dozen bantam eggs. The person auctioning them asked for someone to start the bidding, but no one did. so he asked if anyone wanted to bid £1. I put my hand up, and when he asked for other bids the was complete silence. So I bid £1.50!!! Still nobody bid more. so I bid £2. That got a big laugh but no other bids. So they gave me two dozen for my £2. :)

Moyra, hope you're feeling better :grphg:

Zigs, hope the exchange went off OK. I guess the solicitors did their usual trick of doing the exchange at 3 p.m. That the way they get to sit on your money over the weekend. It's legal but not moral! When they tried that with my mother's bungalow I warned them, in advance, that if they didn't transfer the money immediately to my account I would report them to the Law Society for having ignored my instructions.

See you all tomorrow . Mrs S. has students so I'm doing the cooking as usual (a big veggie stir fry).

            Aloha!

              Aloha everyone,

It looks as though it will be a nice day :)

Our dear old Oscar, after being joined by his neighbour Billy last year, has now been joined by his old sparring partner Monty who has, sadly, just died from cancer.

For those of you that didn't know them, here are a few pictures.

Oscar in his favourite position. He would be happy to be like that all day. He even chose that over having food!
              P1100786.JPG

Oscar survived to about the age of 16 but Billy, who was a sickly cat from birth and had a number of operations survived to 17.

Billy was allowed to eat from Oscar's bowl - even in front of him.

              P1070013.JPG

Monty was really a sparring partner. Although they had their peaceful moments together they quite often had a yowl and fight before settling down for a rest.

We have students today so I shall start prepping the food.

I hope you all have a great day

              Aloha!

Sorry Shiney, I never read your posting properly this morning and just thought you were on a memory trip about Oscar somehow I missed you say that poor old Monty had joined his sparring partner Oscar. bless over the rainbow bridge together again. I am sure they both stalk your garden in spirit bless them.

I also missed this morning that poor WOO was under the weather. Do hope you are feeling better has the day has gone on. Take care my dear friend. God bless.

Loli, Glad you intervened with the two Robins they can be quite vicious when they so choose.

Haven't heard from Hannah, do hope she is ok. Worrying time for her, not sure how much longer she has before her due date.

Take care everyone, God bless you all. :wub2:
