Morning all, hope you are well.

Work again today, didn't get much done in the garden yesterday was raining hard when I got home. Promises of drier and brighter today, so maybe after work today, I can get some done.

          Have a great day.

              Aloha everyone,

Woo, good to see you :)

The sun is shining and the drought is over. Although there was only very light rain yesterday (couldn't really call it rain) it went on for many hours so should have soaked the garden nicely.

I got lots of paperwork/admin done yesterday but still a lot to go. (Always a lot to go :heehee:)

The classes that I've been running on Monday mornings have finished and went very well. By popular demand I've been asked to run the series again, so more work to get done . I'll have to check the availability of the hall but hope to run them in June/July.

The first, urgent, job is to draw up the annual programme for one of the bridge clubs. This means organising 54 events, getting it passed at next week's meeting (a very busy meeting that goes through the day with lunch and just a little:ccheers: :heehee:). I've also got to work out the agenda for the meeting (lots of things to cover) and write the propositions for the AGM (to first be gone over at the meeting). Then design the programme, get it to the printers for proofing, edit it and get it printed.

I'm also in the middle of rewriting the constitution for a Chamber of Commerce and need to get it ready for their AGM. It's great to be retired!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

              Have a great day

              Aloha!

                Good morning everyone,

Shiney...All i've done so far is wander around the garden, knead some bread and read your post and i'm exhausted now:phew::love30:...:blue thumb:

                Woo,always good to see you:thumbsup:....

                Moyra...Hope you're feeling better and you're AB's have worked:dbgrtmb:

Gdnam....We had torrential rain here yesterday and now the lawns are all soggy again:doh:but the suns out today so hopefully it will soon dry up and we can get out there:thumbsup:

LIF...Hope you're able to catch up in the garden after being away...with the rain and the sunshine here you can almost see everything growing by the minute:rolleyespink:....

Saw a fascinating sight this morning...2 squirrels.... erm.....'playing';)....Spring is definitely in the air:whistle:

I could spend hours watching all the birds, they're out there in force with beaks full of moss, dog hair, chicken feathers and all sorts ,they're in full nest building mode so should be a good year for chicks, just makes for a nervous fledging time as my chooks have a penchant for them:doh:...

                Waves to all,

Have a lovely day and take care:SUNsmile:

                  Morning all

Lovely sunny, if a tad breezy, day here so should be able to get lots more done in the garden today, it really needs it.

Hope everyone has a great day.

                    Good morning all,

It is a lovely day out there but as you say LIF somewhat breezy. I have my sheets out on the line so at least they should dry am keeping fingers crossed that it will not rain before they dry.

Shiney you do seem to have an awful lot on with your Bridge commitments and then there is your Open Garden as well to sort out.

Loli, it is a lovely time of the year with all the birds chasing one another. The Chooks cannot do too much harm unless of course the babies fall out of their nests. Is that what you meant? I stopped after taking only 3 A/bs as they were making me sick and bad. But I seem ok now apart from the chesty cough but that will go in time. Must remember next time I have to have a/bs that Amoxicillin doesn't agree with me.

Hope WOO you are on the mend, Take care.
Have a good day everyone, take care all and look after yourselves. God bless. :wub2:

                      Hi Moyra,

Amoxycillin is the only antibiotic that doesn't agree with me, also!

Do you think you'll be able to make to the Open Garden? We've got quite a number coming :blue thumb:

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Glad you're on the mend Moyra, you've really been through it lately.

Hope you get some pottering time later Loli. Shame work gets in the way of what you'd rather be doing.

Don't overdo it in the garden Shiney - I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of all your hard work.

Lots of good thoughts for Woo, if you're looking in. Hope you're back to your old cheery self and get your bounce back soon.

                          Have a wonderful day everyone.

                            Good Morning Everyone,

I do hope to be well enough to come to Shiney's Open Day. Did you post the details somewhere as I haven't seen them. I ordered one of those XHoses that was advertised on tv. They are not supposed to kink and ravel themselves back ready to hang up so I hope they are as good as advertised because I am fed up of kinking hoses and yards and yards of unreeled hoses.

Have a great day everyone, God bless.:wub2:
