    Evening all,

Moyra...I know this sounds like a crazy idea but it's just come to mind:rolleyespink:...I wonder if you could maybe tape a bamboo cane to the side of say a shallow plastic container the when she 'goes' just point it in the direction...maybe with you having to bend down which isn't good for you either,it maybe distracts her...good idea in theory I suppose:rolleyespink::biggrin:...

LIF..I'm keeping everything crossed:fingers crossed: Violet seems to be coming on leaps and bounds:chicken: she seems to be enjoying her daily dose of yoghurt and I think it's doing the trick:thumbsup:

Woo...I hope you're over the worst of your flu:grphg:

Morning all, hope you are all well / on the mend.

      @moyra I don't envy your task

Work again today, hope I get a bit more time this evening, as it seems I am in demand for other things at the moment. Only had chance to water the seedlings last evening!

      Have a great day.

        Aloha everyone,

A heavy frost this morning but the sun is shining . Already got the sprinkler going getting the solid, cracking up soil ready for more digging and planting.

Typical sod's law! After all the digging and humping of barrows of compost and moving of bags of compost, without any problems for my back, I'm now have strained the muscles in my chest and back from carrying a flip chart easel!!! We went up to Cambridge yesterday to pick up the easel (need it for Mrs Shiney's teaching) we got cheap on ebay. It's not all that heavy but weighs a bit and is cumbersome. I tend to have a problem carrying things if my arms need to be a fair distance apart, and my muscles went whilst carrying it from the car to the summerhouse.

So I'll have to give it a rest for today.

Get the oily rag out! :heehee:

        Enjoy the lovely weather

        Aloha!

Shiney...Moyra and I will be round with the oily rag as soon as she's got Ambers 'sample'...go easy today:blue thumb: I reckon after the last time your chest muscles were playing up it's now left a weakness, after damaging mine a couple of years back I have to be very careful as it easily reoccurs the only problem is you don't realize you've hurt yourself until after the fact:doh:...

          Woo...How you doing? feeling better I hope:thumbsup:...

          HRG...Hope you've got your feet up:thumbsup:

Gdnam..Doesn't work get in the way of this gardening business:rolleyespink:

It was white over with frost this morning, good job I'd wrapped everything up well in the GH and on my little veg patch,it went down to -2 at 4am...Set for a lovely warm day in the garden today:dancy:...picking Mum and Dad up and bringing them here for lunch:dbgrtmb:

          Waves to all...

Enjoy this sunshine and take care:SUNsmile:

            Morning all

Make sure you do rest Shiney, you'll only make it worse if you do too much, too soon.

Have a lovely lunch with your mum and dad, Loli.

Shame you have to work, Steve. Think it's going to be sunny everywhere today. Hope you manage to get some gardening time this evening.

            Have a great day everyone

              Good morning everyone,

              Shiney
sorry you have hurt yourself again. Take it easy until you feel better.

Loli, that might be a brilliant idea. If I use my helping hand I may just be able to collect a few drops after all that is all they want. Yes for me to bend down right behind her was putting her off and so she was just walking off peeing as she went. Now don't laugh although it is funny! Glad Violet is coming along ok.:chicken:

Steve, bet you laughed at that!:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

HRG hope you are getting plenty of rest in, do take it easy!

WOO, I am sorry you are still poorly, hope you feel better soon.

Well have a good day all and take good care of yourselves. God Bless.:wub2:

Hi everyone, exercise achieved. Steve cut down a 2pt milk container so it had a shallow tray with a bit of the container left. I held her lead and he managed to get sufficient before she knew what he was doing. So problem solved. Now I have to get it down to the vets.

                  Loli, Moyra,

I appreciate the oily rags :blue thumb: - just a bit concerned that Moyra's may have just been using it for Amber!!! :hate-shocked: :heehee:

                    Morning everyone,

Well what a difference a day makes!!! Yesterday was beautiful, I was out raking without a coat, sunny and warm, then this morning we woke to about 4 1/2 inches of snow, its blustery, school buses have been cancelled.......is it ever going to end!!!

I was supposed to go down to Toronto today, but with the snow, Brad's holding me up until tomorrow instead.......so not sure what I'll do today, cant got out and putter outside, since everything is white and its cold....do need to go do some shopping, so maybe I'll do that.

Off to get some more coffee......so enjoy your day everyone.

Got the specimen down to the vets and they analysed it and gave it the all clear. I have to take her back to the vets next Wednesday.

                              Morning all

Looks a lovely day out there and I've loads to do, having been a tad lazy yesterday. Found a nice sheltered spot out of the breeze and sat in the sun reading a book while having lunch and stayed there for most of the afternoon (oops)

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

                                Aloha everyone,

I've been working my way through some outstanding paperwork - two weeks late! After I've had a touch of brekkie, and the frost has gone, I want to get in a bit of gardening before going off to a charity meeting on the river nearby.

It's with a charity called Canalability who run canal boats on the river where children with disabilities can have days out, weekends away or holidays with them. A very good cause. We'll be trying to promote more publicity for them.
                                http://canalboat.org.uk/

Aches and pains are easing up :blue thumb:. This getting old lark isn't too much fun :old: but I'm still managing to enjoy myself and hope to do so for a long time yet. I'm definitely aiming at getting my telegram from King William or King George :heehee:

                                Have a great day

                                Aloha!
