Yawn Yawn, wakey wakey !! 2015 mk 2

Morning all

Blustery overnight with heavy rain, do not know how much more water
the lawn can take, I have to walk on it if I want to do any work on the beds.

Must go out shopping, used up the last of my bread, and about enough me for cereals
and coffee. We are also used up all the bananas

Something simple for dinner tonight, I fancy egg and chips.

Got a few things to do today. Off to see if I can buy a small petrol mower for my daughter, it's for her birthday next month and a local dealer has them on offer at the moment.

While I'm out I'll combine it with a trip to the dump and get some more chicken's food while I'm at it. Excitement all the way today.

Good Morning All,

I had a friend pop in for a cuppa this morning, her grandfather has bowel cancer, he's 85, I have my fingers crossed there's something they can do for him.

This morning I could hear a cockerel crowing in the next village! My hens were shouting back at him at 7.15! I'm not sure a mother should allow her girls to shout at men!

Lovely bright day here today, my cat is laying in the sunshine in the dining room!

Kev has gone into work I'm waiting for him to come back for lunch.

We have a frosty start here this morning, it rained yesterday evening, so when I went to let the hens out this morning the pop hatch on their hut was frozen shut. I had to get a hammer and a lump of wood to open it.

Hope nobody's feeling too delicate this morning. Happy New Year to one and all.

Happy New Year

After a late start this morning I went into work with hubby, he started early but kindly came back from work to pick me up mid morning as I wasn't sure about driving after last nights party! I felt fine but it's not worth the risk.
I'm now doing dry January & I've bought salad/ryvita/fish etc, I must loose this weight I've put on, I'm feeling very determined to achieve both goals!

It feels chilly here tonight, the temperature has certainly dropped.
