Hope everyone is OK today

Everything went really smoothly and turned into quite a 'pleasant' day considering.Lots of memories shared and even a few laughs too. I think MIL would have approved...

All quiet here again now,the last of the family left yesterday but not until after they'd sang Happy Birthday to Archi and Theo..They were 5 years old yesterday and with all the Oooo ahhh we'd almost forgotten...We made up for it later and the furry boys had an hour of running around the house with their helium balloons in their mouths.....

Woo...I think we're all ready for Spring but is Spring ready for us need to get rid of a bit of this snow first

Well, back to the grind today after another quick cuppa first

Good morning everyone,

Overdid it with my ankle yesterday, walking Amber three times just pushed it too far. By the time I went to bed I was in absolute agony again. Still ibuprofen and volterol during the night it eventually wasn't too bad this morning and I managed to walk Amber ok. Must try to rest it as far as possible in between walks today.

I hope everyone else is on the mend. Loli, happy birthday to the boys, boy that year went round quick. Glad everything went off ok and you now have your home back to yourselves.

Dry with a bit of a watery looking sun today, but quite mild. Rain due soon though

Oh Shiney, as one ailment clears another one appears. You've not had much luck these past few months . Wish you completely better soon.

Glad your MIL's send off went well Loli and you've got your house to yourself again. Happy belated birthday wishes to Theo and Archie.

Hope you manage to take it easy in between walks Moyra.

Morning early people

Despite the wet start it dried out enough to turn the soil over yesterday, still got a lot to do though, roots from the Birch and the Ash have invaded the plot, the Birch has made a bee line for the Dalek compost bin, must like that.

Eve, I intended to rest my ankle but realized I only had a couple of days to collect my fuel reduction at Tesco's so popped down and got 20 litres and saved myself £3.60 - worth having but my ankle did not like the clutch work and then when I got back Amber was due for another walk. I am now going to rest it until 4pm when I take her out again.

 

Well didn't get to take her out as Steve had me resting my elevated ankle and he volunteered just got outside and onto the green with her when the heavens opened and threw everything down Hailstones, Sleet, Snow and rain a right mix so their walk was cut short.

Great that Steve tried, even if weather didn't cooperate Moyra. Don't blame you for going for the petrol. I would have too. Hope the foot is a bit better now

 

Good morning Woo and all,

By 'eck it's nippy this morning...Brrrrr...-4 when I last looked...Lawn looks nice and sparkly though.It's a good job I always check the 'girls' about an hour after I take them to their run to make sure they're all in the coop,Lily and Rose were locked out the auto door had closed before they'd gone in and they were sat on their little bench falling asleep,poor things would have frozen to death in this cold

Take care if out and about today,infact stay in and keep warm

Cold here as well but too dark to see what else is going on out there. They keep forecasting snow but it never arrives, just more rain.

Amber made up for her short walk last night with two lots to pick up this morning, still not too far to the doggy bin fortunately.

My ankle is fine this morning but will be careful do not want to start it off again.

Loli So glad you checked on the girls that would have been awful if they had been locked out all night.
