                The sun is trying to appear :SUNsmile:

                I've done the cooking for tomorrow's lunch as we have our quiz team coming. It's just an annual quiz that we have at the bridge club the first Saturday in February. We use it to raise money for charity.

                It's an evening quiz organised by the committee members and we do the catering as well. A very nice ploughman's with six different cheeses, a variety of pates, pork pies (something different for the veggies), a range of pickles and bowls of salads.

                My team is usually in the prizes but I'm not sure we'll manage it this year. One of our strongest members is going to the Robbie Williams concert instead! :doh:

                  Cold here this morning but the sun is trying to break through so hopefully will warm up a bit.

                  The quiz night sounds fun Shiney. Years since I did anything like that, but I used to enjoy going to the one at our local pub in Southgate. I'd be rubbish at it now, mind you, think my brain retired when I did :heehee:

                    Boy it is cold out there again and we had more snow yesterday fortunately not a lot of it settled. Am hoping for a better day for some friends who are travelling down from Norfolk for their mothers funeral in Brentwood so they could with the roads clear.

                    Shiney I hope you enjoy your quiz party. Eve I am sure you would be amazed at what your brain remembers when it has to.
