Five fence posts being replaced today if he can get into the ground. It's -3C and snow is forecast this morning. Not keen on the BBC giving us a 'yellow' warning for snow! I was always warned to be very wary of yellow snow.

The sun is coming out and there's just some nice streaks of pink around. So, although the ground looks a bit snowy (not yellow) I think we'll get a nice day.

Zigs, I think that solar farms are good - as long as they are motorised to follow the sun. They can be put on brownfield sites that are not being utilised or on poorly producing agricultural land. What is still sadly lacking, and should be a priority project, is good storage facilities. Gel cells need much more research.

I'm getting very bored with doing nothing, can't even concentrate on my paperwork. I'll try again today.

That was a silly thing to do to the tree. A good way to make it top heavy! Our tree surgeon would take down and remove a tree like that for £100. Well worth it as you don't realise how much there is until you start cutting.

 

Didn't know sponges went fishing! Even the foreign ones.

 

Moyra, sorry to hear he's being a pain. You need to set some ground rules that he must keep to otherwise he's out on his ear!
