            Good day everyone
@moyra I hope that's all they need and they do it quickly so as not to ruin an entire day. :)

Been potting up some plants this morning and had to bring the marigolds up from the cellar. Hope they don't get angry with going back to less light but I've run out of space down there. The marigolds are pretty much full grown - which I didn't notice until I brought them up. In a few days I'll have to start dead heading them :yikes:

We're expecting it to be a chilly rain day and with that in mind I have been making a pattern of a favourite shirt to try to duplicate it. Might as well play inside if it's too miserable to be out. After today, any precipitation will be snow - we are dipping back to winter for the next 4 weeks.

Have a safe day all :)

                  Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl thank you for asking. :) She is improving slowly. We went for a wander yesterday and she managed about a mile before being too tired to carry on (got a taxi back). In the evening we took another stroll which was OK.

Fortunately we've been having some sunshine and it certainly seems to help her to sit where the sunshine can get to her. The cough has been easing up :blue thumb:

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

Good morning everyone, Took three attempts to get my blood, feel like a pin cushion. I then had to hang around and wait for the results. Very pleased with the results my kidneys have returned to CKD3 instead of the fatal CKD5 they had risen to. I now have to take things steady and make sure I do nothing to aggravate them again. I have gone back on the metformin just hope that doesn't kick them off again.

So glad H is recovering gradually, she'll also have to take it easy.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

@moyra I'm glad you got that ordeal over with and the results were worth your time :)
@shiney I am glad H is getting better and that sunshine is accompanying her recovery.:spinning:

We had a very windy night last night. A piece of siding was torn from our house :sad:but my greenhouses stood up just fine:whistle:. I'm counting the days until I can start using them again - I figure 22 days to go - because we are expecting temperatures to hover around freezing, at best:gaah:.

Have a safe day everyone :)

                              Good morning everyone,

@moyra that's good news :hapydancsmil: long may it continue :grphg:

                              @CanadianLori thank you :blue thumb:

We're on our way home from Madeira shortly. The weather has not been too bad with daytime temperatures ranging from 14C - 17C. When there's been no sunshine it has felt cold with a fairly strong Atlantic wind but when the sun is out it's sunbathing weather. So, when we go out for a walk it's with being wrapped up warm and with coats on and then removing our wrappings when the sun comes out - and putting them back on when the clouds come over. Most days we managed a few hours of sun with a couple of days that had only a very little sun. Nights were mild(ish) as the wind dropped after sunset.

Fortunately the weather was kind for the Carnival, although the forecast had been rain.

Mrs Shiney is showing some positive signs of recovering. We strolled into town (just over a mile) and wandered around. She only needed three stops to recover a bit of energy each time. We stopped for lunch and she ate her first full meal (spicy charcoal grilled chicken with chips and salad) and we watched the chef doing the grilling just a couple of feet from us on the front verandah of the small restaurant. During the meal we had the on and off coats dance as the clouds kept coming over. The lovely restaurant dog decided to fall asleep at Mrs Shiney's feet. :)

The 1.5 miles stroll back needed about an hour of stops on the way but the sun shone all the way and she was able to sit and relax in it. By evening she was looking much better, but tired. The 'hurry up, and stop' of airports and flights will be a strain but she should be able to doze on the plane.

I'm straight off to the bridge club when we arrive home  and shall download my photos to the computer tonight - if Tom brings it back this afternoon (he's been giving it a service and cleaning the insides, reorganising the back-up systems and scrapping all the rubbish that accumulates on the computer).

Keep well and have a great day

                              Aloha!
