    @wiseowl I can't let the bouncability factor get to me yet as it will wake up the area. :snork:

    The mower man cometh again this morning and I hope he can unsticky the sticky throttle that wasn't sticky before he came last time. :rolleyespink:

    In the meantime, I need to have a serious talk with Sarafi as I saw a large rabbit sitting quite happily on the middle of the lawn. I may have to cut down on the little treats that Sarafi gets from me but I expect that he will, shortly, still come and beg for a chicken wing as I've just made a chicken soup. The chicken should have cooled down sufficiently by the time it gets light (I can't see him begging before then but I'm sure he will be sticking his nose up against the glass of the back door when I have a look). :snorky:

            I was right. Sarafi came begging, I'm a sucker for his begging :dunno:, and he sat patiently whilst I lectured him on his garden duties. I'm not sure that I got through to him :sad: He seems to think that his only duty in our garden is to check whether the propagator is warm enough for him to sleep in all day. It always is! :rolleyespink:

              We are expecting temperatures to soar above freezing today all the way up to 39f.

              I'll be working until 1 then it's outside to play :)

                    Mower working OK now. Man turned up whilst I was out but knows where the mower is. He did it on the spot. :dbgrtmb: So I got some mowing done in the afternoon.

                    I hope the weather stays good for today as I want to get a lot more done out there. Mrs Shiney is out all day at some flower arranging teach in about 35 miles away. :rolleyespink:

                    We have had a lot of complements about how good our front garden looks now :).
                    So we're quite pleased with it. :blue thumb: The spring flowers are coming out everywhere and shrubs and trees are starting to bloom.

                    @wiseowl enjoy your grandchildren :thumbsup:

                          I'm a bit late showing up. It is raining and dreary and I don't think I've fully woken up yet even though I've been out of bed quite awhile.

                          I am going to have a day full of chores that I have so far been successful in putting off but now know I must get motivated and get them done and over with. Off I go...

                            Good morning,

                            I'm having a 'can't sleep won't sleep' night :doh:I knew @wiseowl & @shiney would be awake so thought I'd pop in & catch up with what's going on! I've been awake since 2am I've just put a second wash in the machine, I might as well make use of the time! :whistle:

                            I've been flicking through some plant catalogues, just for ideas for my hanging baskets. I've found a standard magnolia which would be really nice :snorky: for my back flowerbed....I will give that some thought ;).

                            Kev has been on a course in London today...that was a bit stressful for me after the terrorist attack earlier in the week....what a terrible ordeal that was, my thoughts are with the families & friends of the victims :sad:

                            I hopefully have a friend coming on Sunday who's going to help me with a concrete base for my new chicken run :chicken::hapfeet:, after the avian flu lockdown earlier in the year I've decided it's time to have a proper area for the hens with a covered roof...they are in an omlet coop & run & enjoy their free ranging but I want to be more prepared incase there's another A.I outbreak in the future :dbgrtmb:.

                            I'm very behind in the garden, I've made a good start on the weeding & kev's mowed the lawn a few times but that's as far as we've got :sad:, I hope to do a bit more over the weekend :dbgrtmb:

                            I hope you are all keeping well & your gardens are full of the signs of spring :hapydancsmil:.
