Good morning @shiney, I've been talking to the chickens about their new run, they are not a bit interested in the run but they did say 'huuuumon just digs up the lawn & finds me somes worms...BOK BOK!' .
My idea is to build the run off my shed, I keep the straw etc in there & the feed can go in there too which will make life easier. Most importantly once the run is up I can buy some more chickens! .

I hope Hannah has a fantastic time at Hampton Court.

 

Good day everyone
We are having a rainy weekend. Which is good. I have lots of spring cleaning to get to and the ground outside is still frozen so I won't be tempted to go out to play. I do plan to be finished today's scouring by 2ish so I can go out and play a little more with the wiring in the greenhouse. Always fun as every time you add an extension or conversion component there is a good chance the poles reverse and I have to switch things about a little.

Rainy days are good for baking too. Think I'll make some baguettes and we'll have bruschetta for supper.

I see we are back to being 5 hours apart from one side of the pond to the other. Still dark here.

I am looking forward to watching my show and getting the upstairs cleaned up today. It is expected to be a rainy day again however the sun is predicted to shine through a few days this week and that's why I want to have all of my indoor chores out of the way.

Good morning,

I'm beside myself with excitement! My friends are coming tomorrow to do some jobs for me in the garden , they are going to dig out the bank, I've never liked it & I feel it's time for it to go! It's a big job & not one I want to take on!

I went to the garden centre yesterday, it wasn't one I'd been to before, I have to say it was really disappointing So from there I went to my local farm shop, he has some lovely plants & I got a bargain I wanted two hellibores, so I asked the owner how much they were ' £7.50 to you...went into pay & he said 'I can do those for £6.99 as it's you!' Then he said 'that tray of sweet Williams to you £1.50!' I didn't argue I paid quickly & dashed back to the van. . Once I got home I did lots of weeding & painted kev's workshop & shed...I left the windows because they have had it, kev needs to take those out & replace them with board.
My next job is to stain the fences, my shed & the gates .

It was such a lovely day yesterday , I just wish the cold wind would disappear!
