The blister is getting smaller and the skin round it (where the blister was) is purple. It will eventually leave a blister size purple patch that may or may not go. :noidea:

More bites  - even with using repellent

Already harvested and sold some beans today. :blue thumb:

      Good day,
Sorry to be late. I've been kept busy with a few things. They need to borrow some walkers for Samantha as she is too wobbly to trust without support. One has wheels all round and the other, only on the front and it took quite some time to thoroughly wash off the wheels. And I needed to get that done first thing so they would dry before they get here.

Then my show started and when it is airing, nothing much happens outside of a 10 foot radius of the television. I did chop up quite a few peppers during commercial breaks and they are now in the freezer. I have a chopper that is now dedicated to pepper chopping as the heat does not wash out of the bowl.

I'm sorry to hear about the migraines happening. I think I had one of those about 20 years ago and the only way to shake it was to sleep. And it took a long time to doze off with that pain! My heart goes out to you.

@moyra I hope you are enjoying getting out in your garden or front walk. As long as you don't cuddle up to strangers, you should be okay :blue thumb:

I've got to get outside and water the hanging pots and then a lot of dead heading needs to be done.

Have a pleasant day all :)

            Aloha everyone,

Yesterday turned out a warm and sunny day. We were able to sit in the pergola all afternoon and evening with friends and the dinner went well. Sarafi joined us for six hours but we must have been boring as he slept the whole time :heehee:

We have a decorator in to do the inside of the summerhouse. He quoted for seven or eight days but has allowed a fortnight, just in case. :phew:

Damp out this morning but nice and warm. The last baby blackbird went at 7.45 this morning.

            Keep well

            Aloha!

              Good day
It is another sunny day but the guessers have told us that clouds will build up starting about lunch time and thunderstorms shall follow. It will make things more pleasant as it has been very hot and humid for quite some time now and the highs will be dropping down to the 80's after the storms.:fingers crossed: the guessers say...

I saw Samantha yesterday for a little while and she is still very frail. Her doctors have a comprehensive follow up plan for her and attendant care set up. Well done. :)

And I have lots of little puttering jobs to do. I hope everyone is having as nice a day as I plan to have :spinning:

                  Aloha everyone,

It's a lovely sunny morning after some much needed rain last night. It's too wet for mowing - at least that's the excuse I'm using. :heehee:

                  Keep well

                          Good day
Well, we didn't get the thunderstorms that were promised but a cooler front moved in and this morning I've opened all the windows for a 66f breeze to flow through. Lovely.

I've got to get on with making the ottoman slips this morning as I want to start customizing the fence and gate screening that I bought last month. I want them to fit perfectly. Down the hillbilly side is to stop weeds and then on the gates it is to stop the neighbourhood leaves from filling up beside the house with their fall droppings. The huge oak leaves are particularly troublesome because they choke off everything under them quickly so raking becomes a daily chore in October. And yes, I tried mulching them but even after shredding them, they still take forever to break down.

                          Have a super day everyone!

Hope the sun is shining for you all as it is for us this morning. :)

Off to my parents house today to do some more sorting. Also plan to make up a flower arrangement from the flowers that are in bloom in their beautiful garden and place them on Mum's grave in memory of them both as it's their 70th Wedding Anniversary today, sadly though Dad is still not with her.

We have been told this week that he should join her in about 8weeks time...that will probably take us to the end of Sept/ early Oct!!!!!:yikes:....apparently the backlog is terrible!

Anyway enough of my ramblings, hope you all have a fantastic day!!:spinning:

                              Morning all,

Most of my bites have eased up :blue thumb: but more have appeared . Even with being well wrapped up and covered in spray - but it's only a few.

A lot of my time out in the garden is spent harvesting. I picked another 40lb of golden plums yesterday (nearly all finished now) and have people coming round this afternoon (all by appointment) for beans, rhubarb, plums and courgettes. Apples are still dropping off the trees by the cwt and get dumped on the compost heaps as they're too sharp for cooking yet. I got some mowing done (all the main lawns) but am not yet up to doing the very long wild areas.

The decorator expects to finish the summerhouse before the end of next week. :)

                              keep safe
