    Good day
The guessers told us we would have a cloudy morning and sure enough, they were right. Why is it they only seem to make mistakes when they predict nice weather!

I went relentlessy at my chores yesterday and go most of today's to-do list done too so I shall have an easy Sunday. I'll bake some bread for lunch sandwiches and of course, do that whilst watching my show. :)

Have a lovely day all and please play safe. ;)

Hi Lori, yes I see what you mean about the weather guessers, same with my holidays, we go back to work tomorrow and guess what!...the weather is going sunny and warm for the next few weeks, so annoying as I won’t get a proper break until next spring :noidea:.
Can you save some bread for us :) take care all and stay safe :spinning:

            Good day
It cleared up yesterday afternoon and nice enough to sit or putter outside so it was a lovely way to spend the rest of Sunday.

This morning we have some clouds but no rain is expected. I have a lot of tidying to do outside and it will be a great time to get it done since it is not going to be above 70f.

I need to do some more baking too. I baked cheese bread and buns and stupidly took the bread out of the oven too early and it collapsed into a gnarled mess. :doh:I have enough buns for my son's lunch for today but will need to get that loaf made!

I hope everyone has a super day and do please play safe ;)

It has been two very busy days and another one starting in a few hours - going to talk to my bank at 4 a.m. as I always get through immediately and am able to talk to someone who knows what he's doing.

                  Good day
Had a great day yesterday. Got the two little greenhouses sorted yesterday. One still has Shineybrids and ring of fire in them which will need to be harvested this weekend. The other is empty now. Just the 6x8 now to clean up a little but it is chock full of plants so only a limited amount can be done for now.

It is getting cold now so I will have to hook up the mains gas to the heater and keep a minimum temperature in there u til the rest of the super hot chillies can be harvested.

@moyra I hope you're still improving :fingers crossed:

Have a lovely day all and please play safely :)

                      Good day
I'm glad to hear you're on the mend @moyra :)

Another sunny day is predicted for today. I've got to get some tidying done in the sewing area to be ready for the sheers job. It's also rubbish pick up on Friday and I like to do a clean sweep of all of the bins so will have all the fabric scraps bagged and ready.

I'm meeting a friend of mine for breakfast. She sews too and we share ideas and tips and usually have a lovely conversation over our greasy, fattening breakfast! It's only about once a month so I don't feel guilty ;)

The guessers have informed us that in the next few days, the temperatures will be dropping nightly down around 34f. I didn't get as much done yesterday as I had hoped so I must get on with organizing the potted plants outside to preserve the ones that need to live.

I hope everyone has a lovely day and do please play safe :)

                        Aloha everyone,

It's another nice day today after three days of temperatures up to the mid to upper 80's. A bit cooler today.

@moyra it's good to hear you're on the mend. :grphg:

I've been having trouble with my leg for the last couple of days but it's getting better now. :blue thumb:

I have too many chilli plants as they're still producing new chillies in abundance. Even the ones I deliberately kept small by growing them in small pots are still going mad.
                        P1490835.JPG

These are the ones that I usually sell at the bridge clubs as houseplants. They work very well in that job as they look good for months and should keep going through Christmas. Unfortunately, no bridge clubs any more.

We're out for an 88th birthday lunch today. :)

                        Keep well

                        Aloha!

@shiney I will be harvesting my Shineybrids today as we are getting down to freezing at night. They are about 28" tall so lots and lots to gather!

All is fine here but I do have an extremely busy day ahead of me so I must be off now.

Have a good day all and do please play safe! :)

                              Good day
I've been super busy and apologize for not showing up for parade.

Not bad busy, just busy with trying to keep caught up with each day's work. :phew:

Tomorrow, I will have my beloved show playing in the background in the morning whilst I get the baking done. I sure hope Jeff gets his this week! This drawn out storyline is beginning to get like the Oak Island series!

Hopefully I'll show up at an earlier hour.

I hope everyone played safe today :)

                                Aloha everyone,

Yesterday went well with a group of people (rule of six - unless Sarafi is considered to make it seven :rolleyespink:) from the gardening club came around for a look-see and afternoon tea. Loads of freebie cuttings taken but seven chilli plants sold (none from the photo above).

Mrs Shiney made a batch of gluten free, sugar free chocolate muffins - excellent :dbgrtmb:
                                P1490847.JPG

I'll try and mow the wild area this morning. Then zooms at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.

I'll need to start cooking tonight's dinner shortly. I'll be doing hot salt beef but it's going to take about three hours to cook (I've already brined and spiced a whole brisket, rolled and tied it first, and then cut into manageable portions and frozen it) and shall have it with jacket potatoes (may be naughty and do chips instead :rolleyespink:) and have some nice runners and some cauli.

                                Keep well

                                Aloha!
