      I hope you are all OK :)

      I'm still aiming at finishing the pressure washing by the end of the month but it's going to be a tight deadline. Rain is forecast from 11 a.m. so shall do it before that.

      The visit to the hygienist went well and no problems. I've gone back to booking my appointments every three months.

      Yesterday was very warm and sticky in the afternoon so I stuck to catching up on some of my paperwork.

                  We were taken to an Indian restaurant yesterday. The food was excellent but the noise was too much.

                  I finished up filling our wheelie bins from 5 a.m. this morning and the bin men are due any minutes. I'm still aiming at trying to finish the patio before August but am doubtful I'll do it.

                  We have the service engineer coming for the annual check on our water softener and he will be bringing 8 x 10kg bags of salt. The softener is in the loft and he'll put the bags up there for me - we have a good loft ladder. I used to buy the salt in 20kg bags and take it up there with no trouble but even 10kg bags are difficult now. They won't take them up there if I buy 20kg ones. The water softener does an excellent job and is over 40 years old.

                  I also have the chiropractor coming around lunchtime. So I had better get the pressure washing done before he arrives as he always says I should not do any heavy work for a few hours after the treatment.

                      Hi all, got my three hours off today and I’m off now until Monday yay! Just a shame it’s raining now :sad::sad:, on the plus side, our garden furniture has just arrived (flat packed) so that will keep me busy, glad to see your all ok and keeping busy :spinning:

                        We have woken to a lovely sunny morning...just hoping it lasts. Hubs has just arrived home from his early morning hike. Must've been lovely, hopefully I'll soon be able to join him once more. :fingers crossed:

                        Still planning for next year's seed sowing ,and making a note of plants that may need ditching, I dislike it when plants become very battered looking as sadly some of ours have after heavy rains and winds, it doesn't help that we are in a bit of a wind tunnel zone to start with.

                          Good morning Upsydaisy…… it’s still raining here, windy too, some of my flowers have dropped of due to the high winds and rain :sad:, I may have to have a trip to the garden centre to renew them :heehee::yes:.

                          I too hope you get to walk with your hubby again, when is your appointment??

                          my dad went to get his second eye done and when he arrived the had to postpone it because the computers where down :thud: so he back there on the 8th August :blue thumb:

                            Good morning lovely sunshine here. My DVLA field vision test has been changed from Monday to this Friday. I do hope my eyes are going to be good enough. I have taken nearly a months supply of those Revision tablets and my eyes certainly appear better, but is it wishful thinking I ask myself.

                              It's really some of my taller ones that are looking a tad sad for themselves, despite my attempts to provide them with 'not so discreet' staking....gave up on discreet!!!.:heehee:
