Good morning all, Steve's just said there was a pair of foxes having a bit of rumpy in the garden this morning, so some cubs soon! They have a den under his garden shed. They must realise Amber is no longer around to chase them off.

@Upsydaisy you sound like you suffer very much like me. I do empathise with you, sometimes there is nothing you can do to alleviate it. Hope you feel better when we get a bit of sun to ease our aches and pains.

Congratulations @shiney getting into the finals, well done!
Have a good day everyone, take it easy and stay safe and well. :wub2:

Morning @moyra .....awww how lovely to think you may have the mischievous antics of fox cubs to enjoy!! My sister occasionally has them in her garden too...such fun to watch!

I was diagnosed when I was 23 with arthritis and osteoporosis in my spine about 10 years ago. Normally it's fairly management but I think the restrictions of Covid have had a marked effect on it lately. I was always out and about either with hubs or meeting up with friends, we also loved visiting NT places too. The other thing we absolutely loved was going to stay down in Dorset and walking for miles along the stunning shoreline. We have friends that have a luxury mobile home down there and have been fortunate in being given the keys and an open invitation to use it. I know we enjoy local walks and attending to the garden and that in itself provides some exercise.....but you can't beat a good day out somewhere!!! Roll on happier days.

      Look after yourself @moyra :wub2:

        Good day
Sounds like everyone has got a pleasant start to the week :blue thumb:

Sam is still slumbering and building up her strength :)

I baked some muffins this morning to top up son's lunch pail so he has brunch as well.

I just finished fixing the furnace mounted humidifier to stop an annoying popping sound. Thank goodness I did because the water was spitting at the electrical parts of the air cleaner :yikes:

And now I'm going to have another cup of tea and just lounge around for awhile ;)

        Cheers all :coffee:

Wow!! Isn't it mild......loving it!!!! Shame about the rain though.Never mind I would rather have the higher temps.:dbgrtmb:

No plans yet , not that I can do much really , might look through my seeds that I have decided to sow this year and review my selection. My list is long!!!

          Grocery delivery late morning.:blue thumb:

          Take care everyone. :spinning:

Good morning all. I was up to 1 am last night getting Steve's accounts set up, Now I have to finish them today. Shouldn't be too difficult as he has not done a lot of work this year because of the shutdowns. Still its all paperwork!

@CalifornianLori glad Sam is resting well so she will be ready for her operation.
@Upsydaisy, take it steady today don't go aggravating your joints and spine, take care.
@shiney , take it easy if its back to the gardening again.
@Flumpy, hope you are keeping ok?
Have a good day all and stay safe and well. :wub2:

              Aloha everyone,

After a night of rain it is quite bright out there.

The health shop in the nearest small town has asked for some more honey which I shall deliver today.

Just about to go outside and cut Mrs Shiney's hair out there.

We won our league match yesterday and I have one of my regular bridge club sessions this afternoon. So shall only get a little done out there. It will give my tennis elbow a rest. :)

              Keep well

              Aloha!

                Good day
                @shiney congratulations on your victory!

Sam is up already. No, she did not wet the bed. :)

It is snowing so I quick walked around the side of the house to one little greenhouse to bring in more pots before the snow got deep. Oh, that was silky. The news on the television just informed me we won't bet more than a couple of inches.. Ah well, they're in now :blue thumb:

Have a lovely day all :coffee:

I looked up the internet about tennis elbow and they say a brace fitted just below the elbow helps. I don't have a brace but have put a medium compression stocking on the arm, folded over double so that it fits. Seems to help

Yes I have a strap that I had when I had it in my left arm ,many moons ago and nowhere near as bad.
You can get various types depending on what type of activity you mainly use your arm for ( especially good for work related movements).....as I'm right- handed then obviously I use it for everything , it is more my hand that gives me problems.

Yes, hand strength is severely diminished with tennis elbow. Thank goodness those exercises work so well for me!

It seems silly but it does work. Or at least it did for me. :fingers crossed: for you. I always have to remind myself, when the pain starts coming back, to get to them right away.

                            How is everyone today??
I'm sitting here listening to the wind making the windows in the old part of our house creak. Thankfully all the Oak Trees have been accounted for and are all still standing , daren't look at our fence, our neighbour has replaced it and has done (:fingers crossed:) a good job this time. The neighbour that put up the original fence was a builder who 'did up' his deceased parent's property prior to selling it. You could've blown in down with your own breathe!!!

Have a good day and keep keeping safe!:spinning:

                              Good day
@Upsydaisy I am glad to hear everything is holding up at your place.

It is quiet here. Sam is still asleep and her father/my son Jim spent the night at a friend's ;) last night so I am the only one up and around. Listening to the news and catching up with emails and of course coming here to say hello.

Sam has one test to go through today and I am not allowed to stay with her because of the new, tightened measures due to covid which means that I'll have time to drop her off, come back home and vacuum and then have everything tidy when it's time to pick her up.:blue thumb:

I hope everyone has a nice day and keeps warm! :coffee:
