    I need to use the computer a fair amount because of all the emails I have to deal with. I get a minimum of 50 emails per day :rolleyespink:. Some of my time on GC is taken up with admin. The large screen makes a big difference. :)

        The only good side to that is that you'll have expended so many calories trying to keep up with the heavy work load, that you can polish up the Christmas sweets you have left over and not gain a gram! :)

            We had a busy day in the garden.

            We celebrated my sister's 80th on Wednesday by six of us going to the Chinese for lunch. The place was empty (the reason for going at lunchtime) but the food was good. no other celebrations until some time in the new year - maybe in the summer :whistle: :heehee:

                Good day,
                It is mild (above freezing) and cloudy but the last day of the year so I'm feeling quite cheery.

                Number one son and his partner came down with covid. She is not sick with symptoms, he is. Seems to me that women seem to battle it better... :whistle: Amazon warriors come to mind :biggrin:

                He'll be okay. He's been double vaxxed so the symptoms are mid-nasty not hospital nasty.

                I'm going to get my shopping done this morning so I'm not getting in the way of the young people later on.

                And I've got lots of little projects to keep me out of trouble. And I'd better keep active and burning calories. I've just discovered that two slices of Christmas cake with a slab of good quality vanilla ice cream in between makes a heavenly sandwich. Oink oink oink...

                Cheers and happy new years to all. I say that now because I will not be up a midnight. And even though most of you are 5 hours ahead of me, I usually try to sign off the computer by supper time.

                    I'm having an easy day today. I was out shopping early, even the cockerels were still asleep on the farm down the road, to do shopping for a couple of older people in the village.

                    I did a load of emails by 8 a.m. and no more unless something is urgent. Also did some cooking and now shall potter in the sunshine in the garden.
