Reblochon is for tartiflette @Ladybird4. Lovely grub.

Lovely wreath @Penny_Forthem, especially the ribbon and citrus but not the robin. It's just wrong.

What lovely neighbours @Ladybird4. The idiot next door, ex gendarme so conversant with the law - kept setting fresh garden waste fires in his garden which we wouldn't mind except he did it ondays when it was hot enough to have all our windows open and the wind was blowing our way. There was no talking to him as he's a pr*t so OH compained to the mairie. After the thrid time the mayor cam and spoke to him. No fires since.

I have written my UK Xmas cards. OH will post them tomorrow. Strictly has been recorded. We're watching Whisky Galore which Possum is finding hilarious.

@lizzie27 I found the ending of Shetland a bit of a damp squib. Too contrived.

I agree with you Obelix about Shetland. I had the right family but wrong person.

Whisky Galore is always worth watching.

We have a neighbour like that who will keep lighting bonfires of green leaves/not dead wood, especially on Monday mornings, not that I do much washing that day in particular. He's in his mid to late 80's though so we forgive him and just curse under our breath. Poor fellow had broken two bones in his ankle recently so has been laid up for a few months.
