No wind of any note here but then the forecast is more aimed at Ireland and Scotland, so I'd worry if it was very windy here!

No such word as "fail" Shy Knee I prefer to think you were gallant in permitting someone else the opportunity to experience what is it like to hold the title (hope you reminded them it is only for a brief while ).

Overcast today, so I'm not inspired to do much in the garden today. However, following a conversation on the threads here yesterday, I decided to inspect the Cobaea to see if I could detect *any* signs of mature seeds ... think I've found a couple: one where they are half pale yellow and half black and another where the seeds are all black I've left them where they are for now and noted how they look from the outside for future reference.

Good day everyone
So far today has been mostly dark with a spattering of pitch. We are told by the weather guessers that we are spinning toward a sunny week over here and it's so exciting because I have decided to wash the contents of the linen cupboard and conditions will be perfect for line drying.

I am also looking forward to ripping out some more of the dying annuals and even though the gardens are getting more bare, I'd prefer that, to looking at spent plants.

No sun here this morning - missed out on the red sun yesterday, just never seemed to happen over my head and as I was in the garden for most of it I can only assume I blinked and missed it!

Need to go out and replenish the freezer today.

Good day everyone
Well, I'm off to St. Catharines court house this morning with son #1. Looks like we have the final piece of the puzzle (paperwork) so now we can file our motions, finally

Hopefully I'll be back before the fellow who repairs industrial sewing machines sends his delivery boy around - I offered them thre 1.5 HP clutch motors and some thread stands and other odds and bobs - for free if they just picked them up. Unfortunately, they waited until last night to decide today is the day - so they'll either get the stuff, or not. I'd prefer they got it so that it will all get reused instead of thrown out.

Hopefully I'll be back for a nice sunny afternoon and to play outside
