            Aloha everyone,

Well, I did clean the bird feeders but it was a cold, difficult, tedious and painful (detailed in 'Latest Moan...').

In the evening we went to my sister (not far) and spent a pleasant evening.

I have an optician's appointment in town this morning about two hours after the snow is supposed to hit this area :rolleyespink:. We'll just have to wait and 'see'. :snorky:

EDIT:- five minutes later and it's snowing heavily! :hate-shocked:

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

              Good Morning,

What horrible weather , we were thinking about going to Freeport at Braintree this afternoon (Shineyland country :dancy:) but the weather is so vile I can't find the enthusiasm to go out! This mornings plan was to steam clean the hen coops, I cleaned them out yesterday but I do like to give them a spring clean every couple of months, I don't fancy that job either!

My office could do with a clear out :yikes:.....but I might just sit here, drink tea! :coffee: & have a slice of xmas cake!

              Enjoy your day folks :hapfeet:

                  Gooooooooooood day fellow WW'ers :spinning:

The weather here is ... mingled! :dunno: It can't seem to make its mind up between rain, sleet or snow or a combination of the three  I deliberately delayed Ozzy's walk so I could go out in the lesser of the three evils. By the time I'd walked the 1 minute to my area of choice for our outing, all three came down in equal ferocity :doh:Hard rain for a few minutes; followed by sleet for the next couple of minutes and then followed by those large flaky snowy type snow flakes. You know the ones: the ones which gently flutter down and settle on you, almost like the kiss of a butterfly, and then linger (almost like a bad smell) until they have drenched you without you realising their intent!!
Of course, Ozzy was in his element! :doggieshmooze: The bane of his world is summer heat/central heating :nonofinger: and he walked with gusto (still not permitted to trot or run) with his head held high and his tail erect and primed like a Union Jack at full mast. Of course, the weather also means that it is muddy and slippery under foot, which isn't a good surface for his on-going health issues. He braved it well though  I ... endured it :heehee:
Arriving home was a juggle between towelling him down, squeezing out of my boots (note how I circumvented the W issue there? ;) ) and drying the soggy flooring  Not an easy task when your hands are so red you cannot, easily, feel them (or whatever they are touching) and your clothes are King Soggy of the Soggy Wardrobe. Fortuitously, Santa had popped a bottle of "Mulled Wine" into my stocking, so, without further ado, I poured a tentative measure into a mug and heated it in the microwave for a number of seconds. Mmmm, what a delicious warming of the spirit that was :rwine: Only the one, mind! Medicinal only

Back to the land of toil tomorrow, so may be a day or two before I return here :heehee:

Love, luck and chuckles to all
                  xxMxx

                    Afternoon all!

Been a very busy couple of weeks here, but thankfully now there is time to rest and recouperate! Had a couple of nice days visiting various family members, although I now have a bad cold and it is time to properly rest and relax to get better.

Work is very stressful as people being shuffled around can be. Glad to have a few days off before it all starts again next week!

hope everyone's festive times are being good to them and everyone is having fun, keeping warm and enjoying a bit of rest (if possible).

@"M" You'll recover well with that Mulled Wine down your throat [IMG]how you can drink it god knows it's awful stuff [IMG]

I hope Ozzy had his hoody jacket on plus synthetic leather kit gloves that tie around the leg for full protection to his feet.... protection needed for our pets as we don't want them taking bad [IMG]

Wednesday, bitter cold outside. my one outdoor cat (who refuses to come inside) is sleeping well on her hot pad in her cat house and fluffy blankets and her water kept thawed on a bird bath heater. the other three are smart to stay in the garden room for a nice toasty 65 degrees. So that is my fur baby story for today.
Nothing more about work, just same stuff as yesterday.
Later home for still plenty leftovers for supper.
                          Not snow here, all dry.
                          Have a good day all.

Maybe this should be titled "Winter" instead of Autumn.

Always have @Gail_68 , wish she'd get over it and come inside. her mother and brother are in the garden room, but try as I might, she will not. the house is at the same level as the deck, so easy to put her food there etc. and the opening is away from the wind, thick walls also. Its also covered with a heavy tarp to be extra secure from wind.

@redstar I had a cat years ago and he was the same stubborn, with what you've done for cover when she's ready she'll venture in...pets can be such a worry at times :)
