            Aloha everyone,

It's going to be another warm and sticky day - just like @Zigs computer. :heehee:

I've got to work out how to get rid of our diseased Fuschia. Just checked, it's 8ft high and 12ft diameter :hate-shocked:

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

              Morning all.

It was raining here all night. It's not raining now but still rather dull. I did my favourite trick and left my gardening gloves out all night. They are in the washing machine at the moment. The water is an interesting colour. I don't know whether gloves are washing machine friendly. As they only cost £1 from Poundland, I'm not too worried.

No spade + no gloves = no gardening.

At any rate, my wife's at home today. I'm sure she will find plenty of jobs to keep me busy.

              G.

                Good day everyone
I see lovely dark clouds in the distance and we are very thirsty for their presence. :)

We have cooled down substantially and it was comfortable sleeping last night.

I will be borrowing a cheapy all in one printer from my sister today and hooking it up in my van. My son and I need to get some court motions certified by a notary public, copied then served to a lawyer before swearing in as served and filed at a court house an hour away from home. It makes sense to do the photocopying whilst there instead of having to come back here and return there to serve and file. Here's hoping we don't have to chase around too much to find the lawyer we need to serve. That will take care of my afternoon. I would use my own printer but it has ink tanks, not cartridges and I worry about the ink "sloshing" when driving along the highway and making a mess.

I will be happy when all of this family court stuff is sorted. :phew:

I hope everyone has a day that is much more fun than mine is going to be :)

                  Aloha everyone,

@CanadianLori Good luck with the courts :blue thumb:

We had to get rid of four big Fuschias :cry3: It took a small lorry (Michael's American open back truck), to take the two ton bags and the four root balls down to the dump. We had to park outside (no commercial vehicles allowed) and drag everything inside. The ton bags didn't weigh a ton :heehee: but were full of all the branches. I could drag those OK . Michael had loaded his builders barrow onto his vehicle and barrowed the rootballs into the place.

I'll keep checking all the other, much smaller, Fuschias.

Mrs Shiney has a busy day today. She had offered to do the bouquets and table arrangements for the wedding, in May, of one of her patients. It has suddenly been brought forward to tomorrow as one of the parents is dying of cancer - and it is now going to take place in the West Country. So she rushed out into the garden to pick all the foliage so it can be 'conditioned' to make it last. Then last night had to rush round the supermarkets for flowers (had to change colour scheme). Then prepare all the containers for table arrangements (fortunately we had enough in the loft) and today they need to all be made ready for transporting, in the bride's car that is going down this evening. :phew:

I've got a lot of the gardening to do today, as we have guests coming on Sunday, and we're out tomorrow. I'm also doing a lot of the cooking today for Sunday. It will be an Indian meal so I'll make all the curries today. :)

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

OMG. How difficult is it to get dressed for school. In theory there are 2 identical sets of clothes. In reality there are slight differences. You can guarantee that the twin that messes about instead of getting dressed (could be either of them) doesn't like the clothes they are left with. This morning I almost considered filming it. It was that pitiful. The irony is the one that refused to get dressed had swapped the clothes when no one was looking. She should have left them alone. In the end we all got in the car and she came out fully dressed 5 minutes later. The car journey was quiet as the usually gobby one was still sulking. At school, both twins (I can't always tell which is which), gave me a kiss and ran into school as if nothing had happened. Kids eh. Who'd have them? Not me. They are going to their dad's tonight and staying until Monday. It will be quieter here then. That's for sure.

                          :coffee:

Good morning everyone. A dull start to the day. No rain yet thankfully. Yesterday started out dull and came out very nice. Today might do the same. I have a full day today so I can't see me getting in the garden.

                          :snorky:

                                Good day everyone
@shiney It sounds like you and the Mrs. went all out and made the day special for the couple getting married. Sad reason for the date being pushed forward but wonderful that there are people like you who can make nice things matter, no matter the timing.

@Zigs looks like you are still in mime mode. Hope you get your keyboard fixed soon :)

We went to file the papers and the other lawyer still had not done the work the judge had ordered him, three weeks ago, to get done. I talked to a duty council there who told me that we couldn't do much of anything until this dud finished his part. So I have decided to draw up contempt of court motions and haul his behind into court. :paladin: And because of all the nonsense, I was 10 minutes late to get back to the meter and landed up with a parking ticket as well

I am looking at dark cloudy skies and I am hoping that it's not giving me false promises. We didn't get any rain yesterday and we do really need that water.

I have one of my favourite clients coming by this morning to look at fabrics and another sent me an email asking me if I would work for her again. So nice to have these lovely people in my life. One lady's husband is a specialist- a hip replacement replacement surgeon. Whoda thunk there'd be such a specialty but apparently he's booked into mid next year!

I have lots to get done today, so best get on with it.

Have a good day and play safe please :)
