    Thanks very much, Steve :dbgrtmb:

    I hope you're both OK :)

We'll see you a week later than usual next year as the Queen has asked us to celebrate her Jubilee before we go. :D

    Cheers

    Good morning Moyra and everyone:)

I'm still here, just busy at the moment and still got puter problems with the screen freezing and other bits going wrong so getting a bit fed up with it now.I think in the end it will have to go away to be sorted as I still can't acess any of my photos even to look at them let along all my stuff in my favourites that i can longer get to as I am having to log on under Mr Kandys name :mad:Hope Amber,Theo Woo,Shiney,Mrs Shiney, Loli and every one else who knows me are all getting on ok:)

It is nce and sunny here this morning although it is bitterly cold but we have had a little bit of rain which has watered the garden nicely but my copper beech hedge leaves are crisping up due to lack of water at the roots so will lose them all soon:mad:

Mr K is off to the Dr's this afternoon so hopefully his results and body check all turn out ok so we can get on with looking forward to Crimbo:D

    Have a great day everyone:)

    Quick update.

I have just recieved another appoinment from the hospital to go back and see the consultant.I rang the hospital and the lady took my reference number and just said I am being recalled back.I explained to the lady on reception that I have been waiting for the results as I have already had the biopsy done but she just said I have to go back and see him:scratch::what:.At the time I was just told I would recieve the results through the post so now am worrying that all is not as it seems although Mr Kandy says on looking at my gum everything looks ok and it is healing quiet well which is ok by me:D

Kandy, sometimes they are very thoughtless about these things. Receptionists are not supposed to discuss things with the patient but they don't realise how much worry it causes. I hope things turn out OK. When is the appointment for?

I hope evryone on here is fine and that Amber and Theo are recovering well :dbgrtmb:

Today was a lovely day with sunshine and no mist or fog. so by the afternoon I was able to get the mower out and do some work on the lawn. It was 56F at 3 p.m. and had dropped to 46F by 4.30. So I think we're in for a cold night.

Lots of students over the weekend so I'll be busy cooking in the morning.

    Have a great weekend :D

    Evening everyone.
I hope things are ok with everyone and the pets too.
Kandy, hope the recall isn't anything to worry about.

Had a lovely day out with my DIL doing girlie things [shopping, coffee, muffins] and then went to see my brother then back to DIL for a cuddle with Princess,
I arrived home to find a card from Rosa which was a lovely surprise. She seems well and hopefully she will be back here one day.

I've just finished talking in the lost students (what would they do without mobiles?) and given them hot drinks. So I'll get started on cooking lunch. Nothing too complicated.

A large mixed salad - variety of leaves, cucumber, toms, radishes, asparagus and sprouted seeds
Veggie chilli with almost all home grown ingredients apart from the Quorn mince and the freshly roasted, ground, cumin seeds
    Garlic ciabatta - home made
Fruit salad of melon and strawbs (bought)
Apple crumble with no flour, sugar or butter/oil

I only need to cook for twelve people so there should be plenty of time to get it done on on the table for 12.30. With a bit of luck it should leave me enough time to prepare food for a stir fry tonight.

    Masterchef - Pahhh!!!!! :heehee:

    Have a great day :D

      Good morning everyone,

Woo, make sure you put the batteries in the right place :rolleyespink:  :heehee:

Yesterday's students learnt a lot, had a good time and have completed extremely flattering feedback forms :dbgrtmb: (even included comments on the food :o). Have to get ready for today's lot.

After having mowed the lawns and cleared the leaves the very high winds have now caused the ground to be covered in leaves again

I hope you are all feeling well.

      Have a great Sunday :D

Good morning Woo Shiney and everyone,

Woo keep those wings close to you as there are some very strong winds out there today :D

Shiney the date for my next hospital visit is Dec 6th in the afternoon.I wasn't told there would be a follow up appointment, just that I would recieve the results in the post so the letter on Friday was unexpected.I expect I shall pay for parking, sit there for forty minutes spend thirty seconds with the consultant and then that will be it,either told bad news or signed off with a clean bill of health but who knows:DMr Kandy has been given the all clear by the Dr with his blood test and body exam so we are both relieved with that.Pity he couldn't have got all this out of the way when he first had problems weeks ago:gaagh:Glad to hear the students are enjoying you cooking for them:)

Jazmine yes I have recieved a card from Rosa. She always sends them out in November.:D

Moyra, hope you are keeping well and hope that Amber is going from strength to strength.I expect you will be spoiling her this crimbo:D

We have strong winds today and it looks like the spitting of rain has passed through the county so at least i don't have to water the garden:DI wonder if the water company down this way has started to pump water out of the Nene yet as we are getting a bit desperate now:D

We have stew and dumplings for din dins today so will have a quick walk fiorst thing them carry on with the decorating. Can't wait for it to be finished now:D

Hi Everyone, That wind sure means business. WOO glad you are ok and was just having a rest up. Good to hear you do sometimes as you always seem on the go with that garden, you and Shiney alike.

Amber's doing fine although she was not supposed to have any exercise for at least 10 days the vet was so pleased with her she said short walks on a short lead would be ok so she has resumed morning and evening walks just around the small green outside our flats. She just goes for her sniff around to find out what her friends have been up to in truth. It's my backs turn to have a go today. I think it must be the way Amber was forcing me to lay in bed last night I think. Sometimes she gets into such peculiar angles!

Kandy glad to hear Mr K got the all clear now all we want is yours to be ok.

Well everybody have a good day today. :sunny:
